We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to breathe life into the user interface of our product. Understanding that meticulous engineering not only drives the user experience but also influences our product development process, we aim to prioritize this role from Day 1

🚀 This Role

As a Founding Frontend Engineer at Upskillr.ai, your contributions will be vital in refining the user experience of our AGI Platform. You will also participate in evaluating user interfaces and crafting the frontend landscape for future products. Further:

• Creating and optimizing our frontend infrastructure, rendering captivating user experiences through your engineering prowess.
• Utilizing your specialized skills to navigate frontend development, from designing responsive layouts to implementing interactive features.
• Collaborating closely with founders on product development and with designers for harmonious UI/UX integration.

What you'll work on:

• Leading feature development from user research to production in collaboration with designers and AI engineers.
• Building responsive UI components using React principles and JavaScript.
• Establishing a flexible frontend architecture with supportive APIs.
• Demonstrating expertise in front-end performance optimization and contemporary standards.
• Pioneering the engineering and integration of optimal human ↔ AI interfaces for enterprise operations. We're trailblazing in a fresh domain of engineering that previously didn't exist. The onus is on us to explore and incorporate a novel interface that resonates with our users.

Technical Skills:

• Profound expertise in JavaScript and React, along with robust front-end coding abilities and an understanding of progressive web applications.
• Must possess skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, Flux, GIT, HTTP(s), Terminal, Build Tools, State Management, Type Checkers, Form Helpers, Routing, REST API, GraphQL, Utility Libraries, Internationalization, Server-Side Rendering, and Backend Framework Integration.
• Proficiency in browser-based debugging and performance testing.
• Experience in performance tuning, usability enhancement, automation, and continuous integration leveraging test-driven development methodologies (BDD/TDD).

Position Summary

The Management, Orchestration, Visualization and Analytics team is looking for a technically strong UI/UX Engineer who will help develop and enhance the UI features of Manova products and services. Having a background in Cloud services or Network Management is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces by creating wireframes and mockups

• Adopt and advocate practices of modern responsive UI designs

• Develop flows using Javascript

• Develop/ enhance UI screens using HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular (or possibly other comparable Javascript technologies)

• Own both development and test automation for the assigned features

• Develop test automation for UI code using Cypress, Jest, React Testing Libraries or other technologies

• Performance tuning of web application with solid knowledge of isolating and debugging a performance problem

• Implement functional flows on a Micro-frontend architecture

• Ensure smooth pipeline runs based on Docker, Kubernetes

• Keep abreast of new front-end technologies and development practices

• Efficiently communicate/collaborate internally at F5

• Participate in defining new software architectures, products and solutions

• Serve as source of technical expertise to a project team and is a mentor for junior staff members

• Proactively identifying and resolving key technical issues

Qualifications

• 10+ years of significant software development and engineering experience.

• Experience of renovating a legacy application to one based on modern UI principles

• Solid hands-on experience in UI and Javascript technologies such as React/Redux, Angular, Knockout, Backbone, JQuery etc

• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, LESS, SASS

• Experience with UI Automation and practices to increase efficiency and accuracy of UI development

• Good familiarity with REST services and data formats such as JSON, XML

• BA/BS in computer science or other engineering disciplines

• Expertise with Continuous Integration and Agile development methodology

• Good communication, presentation skills and ability to work well in a development team

• Strong SW engineering and design skills with an eye for details.

• Passion for learning new technologies, and a track record of doing so.

Job Description: We are looking for a UI Developer HTML & CSS Developer responsible for the client side of our service. Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a desktop and mobile web app, with a focus on performance.

Key Skills: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Jquery and JavaScript.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

● Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

● Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

● Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript

● Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

● Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.

● Experience with user interface design.

● Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs

We are looking for a senior React.js developer who can guide the current team and also work on our project. The requirement could be for 3-4 months or at max 6 months. Hence a full-time remote consultant is preferred with about 4-5 years of experience in React.

This position is for a ReactJS developer. Since we are a start-up this position will have a lot of exposure to other verticals such as product management as well. There is no limit to learning for a person who is willing to take responsibility.

• Minimum 3 years experience in React redux and Flux
• 3 years experience in Frontend skills
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL,  MongoDB. ·
