KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field.

• Strong computer system analysis and design skills in current methodologies and patterns including vanilla JavaScript, some experience with ReactJS, Redux, React Native, Webpack, and Typescript or similar library/tools.
• Obsessed with WPO (Web Performance Optimization) and web/mobile performance analysis.
• Experienced with web standards and protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and socket APIs in general.
• Familiar with web security, SEO, accessibility and internationalization.

Skills Required:

● Architect, design, develop, and assist in the development of web application to support internal and external clients and stakeholders
● Collaborate with a team of developers to design end-to-end, industry-leading systems and solutions

● Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

● Should be familiar with frontend Build and Integration Tools (NPM, Webpack)
● Basic understanding of Java or any backend language would be a plus.

SENIOR FRONTEND A senior frontend lead at niki.ai is someone who has individual and team experience in developing web and mobile products and can mentor developers working across all UI platforms - web, android, iOS. We are looking for someone who has deep experience in developing hybrid and native android apps, can work at low level with the hardware resources of phone(mic, audio, camera etc.) and at the same time is well aware of latest web development frameworks at a high level. You will be working very closely with Product managers, UX designers and developers to customise the niki experience for voice and vernacular users. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in computer science or equivalent course. 2. 5+ years of software development experience. 3. Good undestanding of memory and compute limitations of mobile platforms for both android and web apps. 4. Experience with Java and Kotlin. 5. Basic experience in writing unobtrusive, optimised javascript including experience with common libraries like react/angular/ember 6. Good grasp of UI design principles and developing intuitive apps. 7. Should be able to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast evolving environment. 8. Should be able to prototype features very quickly. 9. Experience with setting test automations and A/B experiments and analysis. 10. As a UI developer you will be primarily working on building and designing a front end application for sales-management and data platform. In this role, you will work through all facets of software development: design, prototype, implementation, testing, deployment and documentation. Prinicipal responsibilities and duties include creation of high level software design (HLSD) documents, outlining the software solutions, prepare task list as per functional spec along with timeline for small duration phase deliveries.
