Position Overview:

The Android Developer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. The role involves working alongside other developers, designers, and business analysts to create and optimize mobile applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, performant, and in line with the company's goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Application Development: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.

- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Testing: Conduct unit-testing for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

- Bug Fixing: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.

- Code Maintenance: Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

- Continuous Improvement: Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

- Documentation: Write clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for ongoing projects.

- User Feedback: Gather and address user feedback promptly to improve application performance and user experience.

- Compliance: Ensure applications comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

 Required Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience: Proven software development experience and Android development skills.

Technical Skills:

·      Good experience in React Native (0 - 1 years)

·      Must have knowledge of building Ul in React Native

·       Must have knowledge of CSS property.

·       Must have good knowledge of class and functional components.

·       Must have knowledge of 3rd party module integration in React Native,

·       Knowledge of Redux state management library • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Github

·       Knowledge of deploying apps on the Apple store and PlayStore.

·       Excellent Communication and teamwork skills.

·       Knowledge of integration of native android/iOS modules in react native.

·       Knowledge of typescript and latest ES features

·       Knowledge of React native Ul library (react native paper, react native element, native base).

 Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional Experience: Experience with React.js, React Native.

- Portfolio: Previous apps published on Google Play Store

- Framework Knowledge: Experience with Android Jetpack components.

Skills ​

AEM Guides, JQuery, Java, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS, XML, Touch UI, CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.

Role and Responsibilities

●    Build and maintain solutions for AEM Guides.

●    Work in Agile Methodology - be part of Sprint Ceremonies, provide accurate estimates for assigned development Stories & deliver on time.

●    Follow Best and Recommended Practices while implementing solutions.

●    Ensure Code Quality, Readability, Maintainability and Security.

●    Write JUnit Test Cases for Unit Testing

●    Communicate with customer teams on requirements effectively.

●    Manage customer expectations of response time and issue resolution

●    Troubleshoot and reproduce the technical problems reported by customers and define workarounds.

●    Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of the AEM platform, and integrate with other systems

Required Skills

●    Good understanding on UI technologies like JQuery, Java Script, HTML 5, CSS.

●    Must: Good understanding of backend technologies like Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills.

●    Must: Good understanding of CI/CD tools like Maven, Jenkins.

●    Must: Good understanding of Code Quality and Security tools like SONAR.

●    Must: Good understanding of Topic, Concept, Reference etc.,

●    Must: Experience in creating custom templates.

●    Must: Solid experience in creating editor plugins and custom features.

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript / Typescript language and its nuances,

We are looking to add someone to our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will need to have great graphics and content writing experience for SEO purpose. You will be required to build websites with a contact mangement system called wordpress. You will be required to work independently from your home. You must have internet access and a computer. Hours to work is from 2:00 pm to 10:00 M-F. You must be available during that time and you will need to be able to communicate via skype through screen sharing and must speak and understand the English language a plus.

• Proficiency in graphic design and layout software such as: Tools within the Adobe Create Cloud.
• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and other design and wire-framing tools
• Experience developing images and designs for websites.
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understand Content Management System (CMS) such as Drupal or WordPress.
• General knowledge of systems, techniques and processes used in web site design.
