Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement single page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Developing a simple user interface for a complex product, by applying new technologies.
• Contribute to end-to-end system architecture, working with/as cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with UX teams, product managers and other technical teams to create optimum and delightful user experiences.
• Integrating data from various back-end services.
• Apply expertise of HTML5, bootstrap/foundation CSS frameworks. 
• Analyze the performance of layers in the frontend, backend and engineer designs and code.

• Engineer with 1-3 years of Experience
• Conversant with development for desktop and mobile browsers and hybrid apps. 
• Proven working experience in web programming and applications. 
• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS. 
• Working with a large size Single Page Application (SPA) project. 
• Expert in MVC like design patterns, modern JavaScript frameworks. 
• Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools. 
• Solid CS, OOP/OOD, design patterns.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript frameworks and tools, translating design concepts into interactive web and mobile applications, and integrating user interfaces with backend APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience and resolve any interface issues efficiently. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Build SPAs using modern JavaScript tooling like React, Angular, and Redux.
• Translate graphic, visual, and interactive designs into the presentation layer for highly interactive web and mobile applications using responsive design and modern development techniques.
• Develop prototypes and integrate the application user interface with APIs.
• Focus on user experience and resolve user interface issues, collaborating with the backend team to navigate obstacles.
• Demonstrate proficiency in testing front-end applications, including automated browser testing.
• Plan, install, integrate, and validate systems software and hardware solutions required for frontend functionality.
• Work independently and as a team player, demonstrating leadership potential.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional, non-internship experience building SPAs in React and Angular.
• Strong skills in CSS3 and component building.
• Proven experience in building pixel-perfect, responsive applications for all screen sizes.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks.
• Proficiency in interface design patterns, view layouts, and rendering technologies.
• Experience with lazy loading, Redux, routers, Passport.js, JWT tokens, and CSS animations.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Experience in automating and testing front-end applications using tools like Mocha, Jest, Cucumber, and Jasmine.
• Experience building reusable UX components or libraries using modern JavaScript libraries.
• Experience building scalable, distributed front-end experiences for users.
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) for web app development.
• Experience using Firebase and other analytics support platforms.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming languages and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, DOM traversal/manipulation, event capturing, jQuery, and CSS.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.

Additional Good-to-Have Skills:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline.
• Working knowledge of ES6, Redux, React Router, user experience design, art, typography, and photography.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Proficient in developing large REACT Web Applications

Experience with Django applications

Proficient with TypeScript

Experience with Postgres or other relational database(s)

Experience developing REST APIs with authentication and scaling

Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries

Cloud computing architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Experience with Docker a plus

Mandatory experience: 8 + years

• 3 to 5 years of experience in UI Development and hands on experience on Angular2 or Angular 2+, Node etc.
• Exposure to cross browser compatibility issues, SCSS as the CSS macro-processor, sprites etc.
• Experience with Jira, SVN, Git will be added advantage

Requirements
