We're based out of UK and have our engineering team in India.

Job Description

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

1. Developing new user-facing features using React.js
2. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
3. Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
4. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
5. Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs
6. Handling backend infra written in Next/Node/Express

Skills

1. Strong proficiency in debugging, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
2. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
3. Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
4. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
5. Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
6. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
7. Knowledge of isomorphic Next js and Node js is a plus
8. Familiarity with RESTful APIs
9. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
10. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
11. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
12. Familiarity with basic authentication mechanism and security
13. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
14. A knack for benchmarking and optimization
15. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js.
• Proven experience with React.js and related technologies (e.g., Redux, React Router, Hooks, Context API).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Server Sent Events, WebSockets
• Hand’s on experience with web components, microfrontends
• Deep understanding of browser apis like history, intersectionobserver, event handling, virtual panes, drag and drop etc
• Ability to work on a complex and fast moving code base.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration with React applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Relevant experience in React JS  5+ Year

• Experience in Hooks, Typescript

Skill sets are:

• Typescript
• Javascript

• Redux - global state management experience.

Good to have Back End Javascript experience as well as there might be times when the front end team has to do some back end work (which is the bulk of engineering work).

• Front End Lead (who is a PM / Scrum Master)
• Sr. Front End person who can do Client Interaction i.e. good Communication Skills.
• UI Engineer / Architect who has evolved as a Manager who can take care of Delivery of Front End team only.
• This role will interact with the Product Team to understand the product requirements so that he can be the point of contact for Product Requirements.

6-9 years of relevant experience in building webapps at scale

You must have strong understanding of semantic HTML / HTML5, CSS / CSS3.

You must have a good understanding of MVC architecture.

Prior work experience in ReactJS is Must

You must have experience in setting up the full UI workflow layer right from Development, Testing, Building and Deployment.

Never give up attitude

Experience in frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation and CSS pre-processors like SASS and LESS is desirable.

You should have exposure to page speed improvement techniques.

Exposure of building responsive websites at scale will be a plus.

Prior exposure to building React Native components for Hybrid mobile apps will be a plus

Prior work experience in Angular, Backbone along with ReactJs is desirable.

Good understanding of webpack and redux

• Design and implementation of the frontend applications and Mobile apps
• “Pixel-perfect” implementation of our approved user interface
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Break features into simpler granular tasks, estimate effort required, and identify dependencies
• Work with Analyst and back end developers to deliver a seamless user experience
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code with good test coverage
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use and optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Test and Debug as required

Expected Qualifications and Key Skills

• BSc or B.E in Computer Science / Engineering from a tier-1 college in India or abroad
