Responsibilities:

• Developing existing programs by analyzing user requirements and identifying areas for modification by R&D followed by coding.
• Develop UI in HTML, CSS, and JS and integration with the backend using REST API.
• Translate storyboards and various use cases to create high-performing apps.
• Write, execute, and maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code.
• Integrate our various data storage solutions.
• Ensure responsiveness and boost the performance of our apps.
• Find and address the various bottlenecks and bug-fixes.
• Work on JavaScript/Typescript using React Native/React, Redux & Node.js.
• Help in code automatization.

What You Need To Apply(Technical Competency):

• Good knowledge of JavaScript, React, API.
• Knowledge of JavaScript Stack / Framework.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
• Ability to document their code.
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
• Good knowledge of GIT

• As a lead engineer, you will be expected to execute and deliver large and complex projects end-to-end, with or without the involvement of other team members.
• Participate in code reviews, app architecture, and design discussions.
• Ensuring timely delivery of all product deliverables.
• Be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting. 
• Mentoring junior developers and set best practices for coding, reviews, etc.
• Ensuring performance and scalability in all new product features being developed. 

• Overall of 5+ years expertise in writing HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
• Experience in Angular and preferably React.js
• Expertise in database modeling, preferably relational DB, spotting DB bottlenecks, and writing optimized DB queries.
• Expertise in all common AWS cloud technologies, knowledge of CI/CD tools, and workflows.

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Frontend Engineer to join our growing engineering team to help build and maintain HappyFox’s product offerings. 

What you can expect as a Technical Lead at HappyFox:

• You will consistently ship features and improvements and lead a team of engineers working on our product roadmap.
• You will oversee software architecture, Git workflows, and CI/CD processes and perform code reviews to ensure exceptional code quality.
• You will actively work towards identifying, minimizing, and managing technical debt in the codebase.
• You will improve the development experience and the quality of the codebase. 
• You will define our internal standards for coding style, maintainability, and best practices for a large-scale web application. 
• You will uphold the best practices and coding standards for the team through code review and technical feedback.
• You will take responsibility for key technical architecture and design decisions.
• You will take ownership of the stability and performance of the services that you work on.
• You will contribute to the strategic vision and long-term roadmap in your area of expertise.

You should apply if:

• You have 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role designing and building single-page web applications.
• You have 8+ years of relevant professional experience in building web applications with javascript frameworks like Ember.js or React.js.
