Profile Summary

We are looking for experienced and skilled Frontend (React.Js) Developers to join our
core team. Your primary focus will be the development of new features and refinement of
existing features on user-side.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure product delivery is fast, low-cost and sustainable.
• Take responsibility from development to customer support.
• Build robust and scalable production software.
• Improve quality using code reviews, and unit/integration testing.
• Improve efficiency using automation, and methods like test driven development.

Skills & Qualification:

• 2+ years of experience in software development preferably B2C experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Experience in React.Js , Javascript, any experience in React native is a plus
• Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6 & ES5 ).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Experience in working with the MERN stack or similar frameworks
• Working knowledge of git for version control.
• Understanding of Unix tools.

Responsibilities

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

As a senior engineer you will be working independently in designing and implementing new visuals and also helping improve code quality. A lot of emphasis is on usability; so any specific experience is ux is a big plus. Any experience with backend implementation is also a plus

You will work with a mix of front end technologies, primarily JavaScript, D3, HTML 5, SVG, CSS (and related tech like SaSS/LESS). You'd also work with Git, WebPack. You don't already need to know all of these technologies.The key requirement is a keen interest in UI/UX work, solid front-end programming skills (thorough understanding of JavaScript, CSS and browser rendering workflow) and critical thinking.

Remote working is allowed

• Create high-quality HTML files based on the latest HTML5.
• Conducting website performance and usability tests.
• Troubleshoot any issues with the website.

• In-depth knowledge of front-end coding languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as Sass and Less.

• Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or other graphic design and layout tools.

• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to brainstorm and resolve complex problems.
• Ensure the quality of code is up to the highest standard of readability, conciseness, efficiency, modularity, and extensibility.
• Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Talking to customers and business teams to suggest improvement areas in product flows.
• Create peer learnings for team members and build context for new teammates
• Help with building the company's tech team and iterating on the hiring framework.
• Provide regular feedback to your team (peers and managers) to ensure continuous improvement.
• Keeping abreast with the latest technologies and working on your skills regularly.

Must-haves

• At least 3 years of experience working in frontend for desktop and mobile web.
• Familiar with design tools and convert them to actual code (HTML+CSS+JavaScript)
• Mastery in DOM Manipulation (including Jquery) and understand components, CTAs.
• Well-versed in other non-vanilla languages (ex. TypeScript)
• Well-versed in standard frontend framework (ex. ReactJS)
• Understanding of GraphQL APIs.
• Deep understanding of web technologies in various mobile systems
• Have empathy for the users you build for

Good to have

• Experience in the fintech industry
• Experience leading design and implementation of robust and secure web services.

Technical Skills

• Relevant work experience as a UI Developer. Proficient in JavaScript , ReactJS and/or Reactive Native, Angular , JQuery Experience with HTML, CSS, Knowledge of web services and related technologies (REST) Experience with Web Services and API integration
• Candidate should have a stronghold on HTML & CSS
• Can understand and troubleshoot REST APIs calls
• Database administration and management of a hosting environment such as AWS.
• Knowledge of SASS & LESS will be a plus as well
• Sound understanding of relational and non-relational DB systems such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB etc.
• Has experience dealing with JIRA (issue tracking tools), Confluence (knowledge management) tools.
• Experience with building and maintaining microservices.
• Experience with building and integrating the core system with external APIS.
• Good to have: Domain knowledge in the BFSI tech stack.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

1. Use JavaScript and cutting-edge JS frameworks to develop front end applications that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
2. Solve and articulate complex problems through application design, product development, and user experiences. 
3. Develop software used by people who are not software developers--ensure the exceptional software you create influences them to be exceptional professionals in their respective fields
4. Collaborate with other programmers and mentor junior engineers through the development process
5. Leverage the knowledge of your peers to better understand business trends, customer communities, and technology adoption patterns
6. Evolve your language skills in JavaScript by staying current with complementary programming languages, development methodologies, user interface design techniques, and database tools.

• Responsible for the implementation of end-to-end modules starting from user interface, business logic layer and database layer.
• Proficient in HTML, javascript.
• React JS experience is an added advantage.
• Assists in research, design, documentation, and modification of software specifications throughout the software development life cycle.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and optimizes code.
• Participates in requirements gathering meetings and produces technical documentation as needed.
