Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using ReactJS, and relevant web technologies.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables.
• Take ownership of technical decisions, code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed in the team.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting their professional growth and skill development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate web applications with other systems and platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of the frontend codebase, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in frontend development using ReactJS, Redux, and related web technologies.
• Strong understanding of web development concepts, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with modern web development frameworks and tools such as ReactJS, Redux, Webpack, and Babel.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and delivering software in a timely and efficient manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership of projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with backend development and AWS is a plus.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• Experience: 2–5 years of professional software development experience in [specify languages/tools, e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.].
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in [programming languages/frameworks/tools].
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with containerisation (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

Responsibilities

• Interact closely with design, product, and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces across multiple devices.
• Turning UI/UX designs into prototypes, creating excellent interactions from designs, writing reusable content modules and maintainability of the code.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Review and optimize the app usage by monitoring key metrics and rectifying the issues proactively.
• Review and Optimize application usage, by monitoring key metrics, for maximum speed and scalability
• Mentoring and guiding the team members.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment and bring in optimal flow for rapidly changing design/ technology.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, Angular Developer or front-end engineer.
• Sound knowledge in HTML, CSS & JavaScript.
• Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system
• Proficient with Typescript (Angular 2 & above)
• Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Passionate to create good design and usability
• A team player with excellent communication skills

Requirements

Must have (1.5 - 10) years of experience in front end development in an internet startup

Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience

Proficiency with javascript and html5

Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performance visual effects and keeping the frame rate above 30 fps at all times

Thorough understanding of the responsibility of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies and other web services used in the system

Creating custom general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them in to technical requirements

Delivering a complete front end application

Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop

Co-ordinating the workflow between graphic designer, HTML coder and yourself

Cooperating with the back end developer in the process of building restful API

Must have skills (Angular 6, CSS, HTML, Javascript (ES5 and ES6), rest ful API, Product company / startup experience)

● Developing new user-facing features using React.js

● Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

● Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

● Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

● Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

● Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

● Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript as well as HTML and CSS

● Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

● Working knowledge and integration knowledge with RESTful APIs

● Knowlegde of websockets implementation is a must.

● Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

● Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

● Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

● Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

● A knack for benchmarking and optimization

● Familiarity with code versioning tools {such as Git}

● Added advantages if you have working knowledge of AWS

• Overall 3+  years of software development experience in building web-based and highly scalable applications. 

• Excellent understanding of core computer science concepts like algorithms, data structure, system design, OOP, etc. 

• Deep knowledge and development expertise in React Native/ReactJS 

• Hands-on coding experience in developing multi platform (iOS & Android) mobile applications with REST APIs.

• Experience working as a Full stack developer is a big plus.

• Experience in building single page applications or Javascript heavy front end applications in ReactJS is a big plus.

• Experience working in cloud environments with CI/CD and infrastructure automation is a big plus.

• Experience working in an agile team with software engineering practices like automated testing, test-driven-development, continuous integration, etc is a big plus. 

• Strong oral and written communication.
