This role involves a balanced commitment to teaching, research, mentoring, and institutional service. The Assistant Professor will deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate and graduate students, conduct innovative research, supervise student projects, and contribute to curriculum development and departmental governance.

What does the core role include?

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Designing stateless components in React Native
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Working with the developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
• Working with the developers to build the interface with a focus on usability features

• Demonstrable UI/UX experience on a large-scale app.
• Thorough understanding of React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual
• Good knowledge of JS frameworks like ReactJS is a plus.

Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of working experience as a professional UI developer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Proficiency in Javascript and Web markup (HTML/CSS)

Good working experience in JS frameworks such as VueJS, AngularJS

Hands-on knowledge on data structures & algorithms, time-space analysis

• Work with the architect in identifying modules, interfaces, functionality to be developed
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
