
Elasticsearch Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design multi-tier Elasticsearch architecture (hot/warm/cold/frozen) with ILM.
- Architect Active-Active/Passive HA and DR across production and disaster recovery data centers.
- Define and implement observability standards, data schemas, naming conventions, and ILM policies per domain.
- Develop and manage ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and Elastic Agent
- Parse and enrich structured/unstructured logs; implement scalable and fault-tolerant pipelines.
- Deploy and configure Elastic APM agents for Java/.NET/Python services
- Ensure end-to-end distributed tracing, span enrichment, and service dependency mapping
- Optimize trace sampling, error logging, and business transaction visibility
- Design end-to-end observability solution using Elastic stack: log analytics, metrics, traces, APM, and ML.
- Integrate machine learning for anomaly detection.
- Oversee implementation of distributed tracing and service mapping. Ensure that every critical banking transaction can be traced end-to-end.
