Responsibilities:

• Design multi-tier Elasticsearch architecture (hot/warm/cold/frozen) with ILM.
• Architect Active-Active/Passive HA and DR across production and disaster recovery data centers.
• Define and implement observability standards, data schemas, naming conventions, and ILM policies per domain.
• Develop and manage ingestion pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and Elastic Agent
• Parse and enrich structured/unstructured logs; implement scalable and fault-tolerant pipelines.
• Deploy and configure Elastic APM agents for Java/.NET/Python services
• Ensure end-to-end distributed tracing, span enrichment, and service dependency mapping
• Optimize trace sampling, error logging, and business transaction visibility
• Design end-to-end observability solution using Elastic stack: log analytics, metrics, traces, APM, and ML.
• Integrate machine learning for anomaly detection.
• Oversee implementation of distributed tracing and service mapping. Ensure that every critical banking transaction can be traced end-to-end.
• Drive adoption of observability standards (SLOs/SLIs, tagging, dashboards).
