Position: Backend Developer

Organization: A Funded global healthcare platform connecting doctors, thereby enabling exchange of information on a quick and real time basis, founded in the year 2013.Currently there are 3 lakh doctors using this platform and everyday there are 400 new doctors joining it.

The platform promotes exchange of viewpoints, ideas, and information on various medical practices amongst healthcare professionals. This saves both time and money as solutions to several health issues can be accessed on a real time basis. There are 1.3 million registered doctors and 400+ daily publications on its platform and they operate across 16+countries.

Roles & Responsibilities

You’re Awesome At -

• Have strong experience in Python (FLASK framework).
• Have a Deep understanding of how RESTful APIs work.
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns that can work at scale.
• Sound knowledge of NoSQL/SQL Databases (Mongo DB preferred).
• Strong experience with at-Cloud technology, preferably AWS or GCP, or Azure.
• Core experience in developing complex backend systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passionate about application scalability, availability, reliability, and security.

Your Academic Qualifications -

BE/BTech in Computer Science preferred.

JD-Backend Intern (NodeJs)

Internship Span – 6 Months (Fulltime)

Ventura has been in the stockbroking business for 20+ years and it is a robust and profitable franchise with 1000+ employees currently. We are looking for passionate techies with skills primarily around AWS and Node’s/JS who are aspiring for a fast-track career.

Your Key Responsibilities: 

• Build out of the Ventura cloud-based backend platform from scratch

• Ownership and monitoring of our D2C backend

• Robust documentation skills and desire to share information with others

• Desire and ability to prototype ideas quickly, and be willing to experiment and learn

Basic Requirements:

• Very strong Nodejs, AWS Lambda, Postgres, ORM (Sequelize)

• Clean coding skills around Nodejs 

• Hands-on experience around writing testable code, working with git, doing peer-level code review, daily standups, and generally championing software excellence.

• Should have concepts cleared around Nodejs and JS

• Strong proficiency with JavaScript

• Ability to use Async programming to improve performance & productivity

• Strong problem solving skills with understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement new product features, live the principles of evolvable architecture and modern design patterns

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of  SW development experience, ideally engineering in Computer Science or equivalent degree.

• Object-oriented development experience
• ASP.NET web development experience
• Working experience with Microsoft .Net Core and Entity Framework
• Experience with Dapper Framework.
• Experience with Web APIs, and MVC
• Experience developing Unit Tests
• Experience with iterative development methodologies
• Knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, MVC, and JavaScript, XML, JQuery is essential
• Knowledge of Angular/ReactJs will be an added advantage
• Development activities will require to work with Microsoft .Net (C#), React, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and IIS
• Good experience with MS SQL development is essential - DML/DDL operations, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers
• Highly developed, process-oriented skills for troubleshooting, problem solving, and problem resolution
• Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) and strong customer focus.

1K Kirana Bazaar (1K) is building Bharat's first hyperlocal offline-online distribution platform. Our aim is to provide the benefits of technology and scale to the underserved first time internet users of Bharat. We use the efficiencies of the existing kirana store network and empower them with a full technology stack to fulfill all needs of our consumers.

Over the next 2 years our goal is to transform the lives of millions of new age consumers of Bharat and at the same time make the lives of thousands of retailers more fulfilling! With our end to end integrated supply chain and technology stack, we are already disrupting the traditional supply chain and bringing in innovation and gamification to the traditional shopping and consumption process. What will you be driving with the team?

To build full-stack solutions for retail & supply chain from managing purchases to selling products to end consumers. You will work on solving some of the complex problems of the retail industry.

Your core responsibilities:

• Solve complex problems and follow good coding practices and complying with existing quality standards.
• Evaluate existing engineering processes and recommend improvements.
• Setup high-quality standards in production running code by performing diligent code reviews and rigorous unit test coverage.
• Brainstorm (sometimes, even prototype) features with the rest of the team based on your knowledge of the codebase.
• And of course, there's always bugs to fix, based on your personal experience or feedback from the team and the 1K community.

What will help you thrive in this role? 

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 6 month+ experience in software development.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Should possess a solid grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and distributed systems is a plus.
• Highly developed attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
