ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team focused on building scalable, secure, and intelligent enterprise software. The ideal candidate is a strong technologist who enjoys coding, mentoring, and driving high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced startup environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers across backend, frontend, and integration areas.
• Drive architectural design, technical reviews, and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases on time.
• Establish best practices in agile development, testing automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build reusable frameworks for low-code app development and AI-driven workflows.
• Hire, coach, and develop engineers to strengthen technical capabilities and team culture.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science from a Tier-1 Engineering College.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with at least 1 year mentoring or managing engineers.
• Strong expertise in backend development (Java / Node.js / Go / Python) and familiarity with frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).
• Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and cloud architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience building or scaling SaaS or platform-based products.
• Exposure to GenAI/LLM, data pipelines, or workflow automation tools.
• Prior experience in a startup or high-growth product environment.

• To be well versed in C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, OOPs concepts and SQL Server.
• Involved in code development and implementing database changes.
• Should have experience in complete SDLC Process.
• Candidate should have good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Should be a results oriented and good team player.

• Develops code in C# and front-end technologies like Angular and React.
• Can test own code using unit testing framework.
• Able to understand and adhere to design principles and technical designs explained to him.
• Able to solve algorithmic and platform problems by researching online and trying out solutions

• ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server and JavaScript are must.
• MVC candidate should be preferred.
• Any other JavaScript library also an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be acting as part of a team to develop software solutions using Scrum methodology in 2-week sprints.
• Turn user stories, feature requests and defect reports into quality software changes for our customers.
• Develop software solutions by conferring with product owners, understanding system behavior, and proposing solutions while following the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack.
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
• Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages. Evaluate and make recommendations as necessary.
• Participate in Scrum development process and work towards continually improving the process.
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.

Ideal Experience:

• Extensive experience in design, development and testing of web-based enterprise systems using .NET technologies.
• Experience with Azure Cloud technologies and SaaS product development.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• A desire to solve complex problems with elegant solutions
• The ability to work well with a team of motivated, smart people

Job description

Experience of 1-5 years as a .NET Developer, GIS candidates will get added advantage.

Technologies ASP.Net C# , LINQ ADO.Net WCF,MVC, Asp.net Core.

Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

Programming Languages:-  .Net C#, Web API,

Development Tools Visual Studio 2010 and above.

Databases:-  SQL Server 2005 2008 PostgreSQL Oracle Spatial, Database 11g.

Web Technologies :- HTML5 XAML JavaScript AJAX JQUERY CSS4.

Good to Have:- 

Python Script, GeoServer ARCGIS 10.2.1 Server And Map Server.

Some experience in open source GIS tools such as QGIS, GRASS GDALetc.

Create, customize and maintain ESRI ArcGIS-based applications and APIs using ArcGIS Server JavaScript API.

knowledge of ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns

Troubleshoot GIS software, custom application, and other system components.
