Job Description for Mid-level .NET API Engineer Responsibilities: ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications. ● Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework. ● Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C#. ● Integrate front-end components developed in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript into the .NET applications. ● Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of applications. ● Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend the adoption of relevant tools and frameworks. ● Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. ● Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. ● Should be a good thinker to resolve logical solutions. ● Analyze, design, develop, as well as implement RESTful services and APIs Requirements: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ● Proven experience as a .NET Developer or in a similar role, with at least 4 years of experience. ● Proficient in .NET 4.5+, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems ● Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.(Work experience optional) ● Basic understanding of Sencha and React is a plus.(or any javascript framework) ● Basic understanding of full-stack development principles and architecture. ● Good understanding of database design and SQL. ● Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). ● Strong communication and collaboration● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. ● Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus ● Certifications in .NET or related technologies are desirable but not required. ● Should be a good thinker to resolve logical problems. ● Proficient debugging skills required

Academic Qualification : Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computers.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Post-secondary degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline, or equivalent working experience.
• Development of distributed applications with Microsoft technologies: C# .NET/Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework.
• Deep expertise with microservices architectures and design patterns.
• Cloud Native AWS experience with services such as Lambda, SQS, RDS/Aurora, S3, Lex, and Polly.
• Mastery of both Windows and Linux environments and their use in the development and management of complex distributed systems architectures.
• Git source code repository and continuous integration tools.

• Experience in Microsoft .NET technologies such as .NET Framework, .NET CORE, .NET 5, ASP.NET, ASP.NET CORE, .NET Standard.
• Experience in Designing, Modelling and Development of Database using SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL.
• Working experience of TSQL, SPs, functions, Optimization techniques, Indexes etc.,
• Hand on experience on Creating RIA (Rich Internet Application) with HTML5, CSS, Java script, jQuery, AJAX and Telerik tool kit.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design Methodologies and design patterns.
• Deep knowledge in WPF, WCF, LINQ, Multithreading, WebSocket, Asynchronous, Parallel Programming
• Knowledge on Cloud Architecture, Azure, AWS Services, containerization strategy micro services.
• Knowledge on SVN, GIT, markdown, latex is must.
• Hands on experience in Linux or Unix is an added advantage.
• Good to have knowledge on Go, Angular, React.
• Good to have knowledge on CI/CD/CT environment with unit test automation, pipeline-based code deployments etc

• Extensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and have worked using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Effective in working independently and collaboratively in teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Describe and document technical design, specifications of software product features
• Ability to represent ideas in conceptual block diagram and converting the same into final schematics and project completion capabilities.
• Responsible and interfacing with Client/Project Manager, Development, Architecture, QA teams to collect and execute the requirements.
• Ensure architecture design and development best practices are in place and followed, as well as change management and other process guidelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Experienced with all ancillary technologies necessary for Internet applications: HTTP, TCP/IP, POP/SMTP, etc
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• Very Good technical & communication skills to be exhibited in all the roles to be performed
