You will be working on complex data migrations, modernizing legacy applications and building new applications on the cloud for large enterprise and/or growth stage startups. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly into mission critical projects directly interacting with business stakeholders, customers technical teams and MongoDB solutions Architects.

• Relevant experience of 7+ years building high-performance back-end applications with at least 3 or more projects delivered using the required technologies

Required Technical Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience building high-performance web back-ends using Node.Js and Javascript/Typescript
• Min two years of hands-on experience in NestJs
• Strong experience with Express.Js framework
• Implementation experience in monolithic and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with data modeling on MongoDB and any other Relational or NoSQL databases
• Experience integrating with any 3rd party services such as cloud SDKs (Preferable X), payments, push notifications, authentication etc…
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka, or X
• Exposure into unit testing with frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, Jest or others
• Strong experience writing and maintaining clear documentation

Good to have skills:

• Experience working with common services in any of the major cloud providers - AWS or GCP or Azure
• Technical certifications in AWS / Azure / GCP / MongoDB or other relevant technologies

Your Impact:

•                 Implements Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud) to meet expected quality standards

•                 Ensures functional requirements and high-level solution designs are understood and are translated into detailed technical design

•                 Implement proofs of concept to prove any new technologies, application flows or integration scenarios and identify customizations needed to SFCC platform for meeting client requirements

•                 Guides the performance tuning and scalability of the ecommerce solution

•                 Diagnose and solve technical problems during implementation and support phases

Your Skills & Experience:

•                 4-8 Years with 2+ years of implementing commerce application on any eCommerce platform in last 3 years

•                 If you have not worked in eCommerce platform, we can still discuss with you if you are expert in Java/.Net and understand REST/SOAP webservices.

•                 Demonstrate proficiency in build and release management using CI/CD strategies (leveraging tools like Jenkins and DevOps practices), implement Mocha/Chai unit and functional test cases in order to reduce costs while ensuring quality

•                 Contributes to designing, implementing and documenting the build release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the applications

•                 Participates in technical walkthroughs/ code reviews of other team members’ components, test plans and results and help them with gaps

•                 Collaborate with architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards

•                 Identifies risks and issues, and help monitor them

•                 Guides the development of reference and resource materials

•                 Mentors developers in improving their platform knowledge and development skills

•                 Communicate technical design to the developers and help/guide them in the implementation

•                 Participates in Agile sprints

• We are looking to add a Software Engineer to contribute to the development, upgradation and management of our back end services for our website / PWA / app / chatbot / internal tools.
• You will be part of a lean team with a very steep learning / growth opportunity while working on and exploring some of the cutting edge technologies
• This is a full-time role in Mumbai with flexible working hours (including WFH)
• You will be working closely with the founder and be involved in strategic decisions such as back end architecture, tech stack selection, hiring, etc.
• We have multiple products in the pipeline and we need a strong team player who can contribute shoulder-to-shoulder with the existing team in the software development process.

• Experience in writing production quality code in NodeJS, Python, Java, or Ruby on Rails
• Hands on experience in design web application using ExpressJS, Koa, Django
• Experience in designing and developing REST API. Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
• Proficient in dealing with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL MongoDB, Elasticsearch.
• Experience with in-memory databases like Redis or MemCache; webserver like Apache, Nginx.
• Experience in stress testing and unit testing and familiarity with testing platforms is a plus
• Proven experience in implementing user authentication and authorization in distributed systems.
• Capability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
• Experience in designing and developing scalable system.
• Working experience with one of the cloud services like GCP, AWS , Digital Ocean, Azure, etc.
• Knowledge of low-code / no-code tools to expedite production is a plus
• Engineering degree; Computer Science preferably + minimum 2 years of work experience as a Back End Engineer (NOTE: Please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria)
