The Role & Impact

As the Lead Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be the core technical anchor of the company. This is a hands-on architecture and leadership role. You will own the system design, enforce engineering excellence, and build low-latency, highly available pipelines that handle real-time clinical workflows.

Core Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Scaling: Design and scale robust, event-driven microservices using Node.js and high-performance user interfaces using React.js to support multi-modal AI clinical tools.
• AI & Software Integration: Architect the data pipelines and APIs that wrap, serve, and orchestrate heavy AI models (voice-to-text transcription, NLP, and radiology reporting tools).
• Real-Time Data Streaming: Implement secure, low-latency, full-duplex communication protocols (WebSockets, WebRTC) to stream live audio and heavy medical data feeds seamlessly between the client and backend.
• Engineering Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a hybrid team of 7 software developers and 5 QA engineers. Drive agile sprint planning, set high standards for clean code, and establish robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Production Stability: Ensure high availability, data security (HIPAA/healthcare compliance standards), and performance monitoring for a product already live and actively used in market.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager capacity within a fast-paced startup or high-growth tech environment.
• Deep production-level mastery of Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar) and React.js (including advanced state management like Redux, Context API, or Zustand).
• Proven experience building event-driven architectures and handling asynchronous workloads using message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS SQS/SNS.
• Strong proficiency with real-time streaming tools, data processing, and protocol management (WebSockets, Socket.io).
• Heavy experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automated testing frameworks.

Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role:

Unico Connect is an AI-first technology partner that builds custom mobile, web, and AI products for clients across multiple geographies.

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to own the backend architecture of a complex production AI platform on a dedicated client engagement: API design and data modelling, multi-tenancy, orchestration of long-running agent workloads, and the services that manage user projects and generated output.

We are open to full stack engineers whose primary strength and interest is backend. If you have shipped full stack work but the backend is where you do your deepest engineering, you are a fit for this role.

The mandatory requirement for this role is hands-on production experience as a senior backend engineer building complex, scalable systems in Node.js, with end-to-end ownership of architecture, data, and operations on at least one live platform.

The role is hands-on and architectural.

Expect to design system architecture, lead a small group of backend engineers, build the hardest parts yourself, set engineering standards, and partner closely with frontend, AI, and DevOps engineers.

A typical week includes an architecture decision on a new service, hands-on implementation of a critical path, a code review with mid-level engineers, and a working session with the AI engineer on an integration contract.

As a Senior Engineer on the team, you will own systems end to end across a high-volume, event-driven surface. You'll build the APIs and services behind key initiatives including:

- The driver comms platform — the rules engine, cohorting, and scheduling that reach drivers across SMS, push, and email

 - The onboarding funnel and applicant tracking layer, architected to support Veho's move to an in-house system over time

 - Live selling workflows that turn live offer and market-clearing data into well-timed, well-targeted driver outreach

You'll partner closely with Product, Design, Operations, and Data Science to ship tooling that scales with Veho's growth.

Responsibilities Include:

- Design, build, test, and deploy features across the driver-facing apps (driver mobile app, onboarding and registration surfaces), our GraphQL APIs, and the event-driven services behind them

 - Own a problem end to end: write the design doc your team works from, build it, roll it out behind a feature flag, and stay on it after launch until it is stable

 - Own the driver comms platform — the rules engine, cohorting, and scheduling that decide when to reach a driver over SMS, push, or email, and the delivery services behind it

 - Build the onboarding funnel and applicant tracking layer: registration and set-password flows, consent and eligibility gating, and the integrations that track where every applicant sits in the funnel

 - Build live selling workflows that consume live offer data and market-clearing signals to notify the right driver cohorts only when routes are actually claimable

 - Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design for complex, distributed systems, and architect today's comms and onboarding infrastructure so it supports the eventual in-house replacement of our third-party ATS rather than becoming throwaway work

 - Break a project into milestones your product, design, ops, and data partners can plan against

 - Write correctness-first code in an event-driven system where delivery is at-least-once and no driver may be texted twice about the same route — and where a send must never fire when there is no offer to claim

 - Improve reliability and observability in the services you own, with alerts that fire on real problems and stay quiet otherwise, so an on-call engineer is paged for a broken send pipeline and not for noise

 - Propose the engineering work your team should be doing, including the reliability, data-quality, and compliance work nobody is asking for

 - Use AI-native development workflows and tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and similar) as part of how you ship

 - Mentor the engineers around you, keep the team's code review bar high, and write down what you learn

What You Bring:

- 5–7+ years of experience building, testing, and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments

 - Depth in AWS serverless, including Lambda, a managed GraphQL layer such as AppSync, DynamoDB, EventBridge, and SQS

 - Experience with event-driven systems and the idempotency work that comes with at-least-once delivery — especially in a comms context where duplicate or misfired messages reach real people

 - Strong full-stack experience with TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, and React

 - Experience with DynamoDB single-table design

 - Experience integrating with third-party platforms and their webhooks, and keeping the data they produce in sync and trustworthy across services

 - At least one project owned through production rollout, including what broke afterward and who fixed it

 - Experience operating a service in production long enough to own its failure modes

 - Judgment about what a design costs in engineering time, dollars, and vendor commitment

About the role

We're looking for a tech lead to set the technical direction for a growing team and raise the bar for everyone around them. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll still write production code, but your largest impact comes through architecture, mentorship, and the standards you instill. You own outcomes for a team, not just your own commits.

• Lead the technical direction of a team building across our TypeScript/React + Node.js + AWS stack
• Drive architecture decisions, document tradeoffs, and align the team on a clear technical path Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and guidance, growing them toward strong production ownership

About the Role

SwitchKart is on a mission to make technology more accessible and more sustainable — we're in the business of recommerce, giving old smartphones a second life, cutting down e-waste, and extending the lifecycle of every device we touch.

We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help us build and scale the ecosystem of platforms powering this mission — from our procurement app to our retailer app, pricing engines, and warranty systems. You'll take ownership of complex features end-to-end, mentor junior engineers, and make architectural decisions that shape how we grow.

• Own Features End-to-End: Design, build, and ship full stack features across our procurement, retailer, pricing, and warranty platforms — from database schema to UI polish.

• Drive Architecture: Make key technical decisions on system design, scalability, and code structure as our ecosystem of apps grows.

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• 4+ years of full stack development experience

• Strong proficiency in React and Node.js

• Solid experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL — schema design, query optimisation

• Experience designing and scaling production systems

• Experience deploying and managing applications on a cloud platform (AWS/GCP or similar)

• Comfortable owning a feature from concept to deployment

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

• Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers

• Track record of driving scalability and time-to-market in past cloud architecture decisions

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines

• Experience with Docker, NoSQL databases, or distributed caching

• Experience integrating third-party REST/SOAP APIs

• Experience in a fast-moving startup environment
