Job Description

We are seeking a talented 2D Artist to join our creative team at ChicMic Studios. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic background and a passion for creating visually appealing 2D assets. You will work closely with designers, developers, and animators to produce high-quality artwork for various projects, including games, apps, and digital media.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and produce 2D characters, environments, user interfaces, backgrounds, and Props.
• Generate concept sketches and illustrations based on project requirements.
• Work with other team members, including developers and designers, to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
• Understanding of various image formats and Ensuring that art assets are optimized for various platforms, including mobile, web, and desktop.
• Maintain and develop the visual style of the project, ensuring consistency across all assets.
• Revise and improve artwork based on feedback from clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Animation, Graphic Design, or related field
• Must hold minimum 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in 2D art and animation.
• Experience in the gaming industry or app development.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma and other relevant design software.
• Familiarity with AI Image generators like Midjourney, Leonardo.ai or Stable Diffusion.
• Familiarity with Frame by Frame animations for characters, objects, and effects.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your 2D art and animation work.
• Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles specific to Game Design.
• Familiarity with 3D art softwares like Blender, ZBrush and Maya is a plus.

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as Photoshop.

Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary

• Preparing students for standardized science and post-secondary entrance tests

•       5 + years of experience in Core  Java, , Spring Boot, Microservices   (Mandatory skills) + AWS added advantage

        Experience building scalable backend systems using REST APIs & NoSQL databases

•       Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving

•       Awareness of Amazon build tools and processes is a big plus

• Must possess a fair, clear understanding of fundamentals and concepts of Magento 1/2, PHP.
• Must have strong experience in Magento Extension development.
• Write well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards.
• Strong experience of Magento Best Practices, including experience developing custom extensions and extending third party extensions.
• Thorough functional and code level knowledge of all Magento products and all relevant commerce technologies
• Good experience on Caching & Performance improvement.

 UG/PG with good communication skills.

Stability, With 2 years of Minimum experience in similar field candidates have to recruit the Paramedical staff in US Market.
