Digital Marketing Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that software applications meet high standards of quality, performance, usability, and user experience.

The role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify, report, and resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Perform various types of testing, including:
• Smoke Testing
• Sanity Testing
• Regression Testing
• User Acceptance Testing
• API Testing
• Functional and Non-Functional Testing
• Black Box Testing
• White Box Testing
• Exploratory Testing
• Compatibility Testing
• Basic Security Testing
• Conduct basic performance testing to ensure applications meet expected responsiveness and stability standards.
• Develop, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive UI testing.
• Provide usability feedback from an end-user perspective to improve the overall user experience.
• Test applications from a real-world user perspective to ensure usability, functionality, and accessibility.
• Perform sanity checks after deployment across different environments.
• Track, log, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or Zoho, ensuring clear and accurate issue reporting.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, defect reports, QA status reports, and test execution records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC and STLC processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in testing practices and QA processes.
• Understand and apply the Bug Life Cycle for accurate defect reporting, tracking, and closure.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity during testing.
• Use REST API testing tools such as Postman for API validation.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and defect management tools such as Jira or Zoho.
• Familiarity with REST API testing and API validation tools such as Postman.
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend and database validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodology.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and user experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• 2–4 years of experience in Manual Testing or a similar QA role.
• Exposure to basic performance testing and security testing is preferred.

Technical Experience –

·        5 - 8 Years of experience, preferable at technology or Financial firm

·        Strong understanding of data analysis & reporting tools.

·        Experience with data mining & machine learning techniques.

·        Excellent communication & presentation skills

·        Must have at least 2 – 3 years of experience in Data Model/Analysis /mapping

·        Must have hands on experience in database tools & technologies

·        Must have exposure to Genesys cloud, WFM, GIM, Genesys Analytics API

·        Good to have experience or exposure on salesforce, AWS or AZUre , & Genesys cloud

·        Ability to work independently & as part of a team

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Scope –

• Data Model similar GIM database based on the Genesys Cloud data.
• API to column data mapping.
• Data Model for business for Analytics
• Data base artifacts
• Scripting – Python
• Autosys, TWS job setup.

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing, developing & deploying the product

2. Work as part of a team to build React Native iOS / Android applications

3. Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code

4. Translating wireframes and PSD designs into functional responsive apps, Implement pixel perfect UI's that match designs

5. Binding UI elements to JavaScript object models, work with native modules when required

6. Creating RESTful services with Node.js

7. Developing scalable web architectures

8. Working in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience

9. Creating unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of code

10. Being responsive to change requests and feature requests

11. Writing code that is cross-platform and cross-device compatible

12. Co-ordinating end-to-end implementation

13. Release applications to iOS and Google Play stores

Requirements
1. 5-7 Years of hands-on development on Android
2. Extensive understanding of Architectures - both old and new -> MVC to MVVM To Clean
3. Excellent In-depth understanding of Java and Kotlin Programming Languages
4. 2+ Years of managing android developers
5. Have worked on or scaled an app to more than 1mn downloads
6. Obsessed about long term solutions, yet understands business requirements to deliver projects quickly
7. Good understanding of backend technologies for better cross teamwork
8. Obsessed about app ratings, app vitals, and crash-free apps

Responsibilities

1. Lead the Testbook Android Team of 12+ Android Developers
2. Own the Testbook Android App (2Cr+ Installs) and its related 500+ Apps
3. Work extensively with Product Managers to deliver quality products and features
4. Improve the App Architecture and drive processes for code reviews, releases.
5. Take up occasional challenging Android coding tasks
