Devops Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure including VMs, App Services, AKS, Networking, and Storage
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
• Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Deploy and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters
• Automate configuration management and deployments
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
• Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Expertise in CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS)
• Knowledge of Git-based version control systems
• Experience with configuration management tools
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Duties & Responsibilities

• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system
• Build a deployment pipeline for AWS and Salesforce
• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
• Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as cloud formation template
• Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
• Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, Fargate, S3, Cloud Formation)
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
• Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
• Experience with Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Cloud Formation and deploying applications on AWS
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Database experience to help with monitoring and performance; PostgreSql experience preferred
• AWS certification preferred

Education

• Bachelors in Engineering or related field

• Candidate should have good Platform experience on Azure with Terraform.
• The devops engineer  needs to help developers, create the Pipelines and K8s Deployment Manifests.
• Good to have experience on migrating data from (AWS) to Azure. 
• To manage/automate infrastructure automatically using Terraforms. Jenkins is the key CI/CD tool which we uses and it will be used to run these Terraforms.
• VMs to be provisioned on Azure Cloud and managed.
• Good hands on experience of Networking on Cloud is required.
• Ability to setup Database on VM as well as managed DB and Proper set up of cloud hosted microservices needs to be done to communicate with the db services.
• Kubernetes, Storage, KeyValult, Networking(load balancing and routing) and VMs are the key infrastructure expertise which are essential. 
• Requirement is  to administer Kubernetes cluster end to end. (Application deployment, managing namespaces, load balancing, policy setup, using blue-green/canary deployment models etc).
• The experience in AWS is desirable 
• Python experience is optional however Power shell is mandatory
• Know-how on the use of GitHub

DevOps Architect 

Experience:  10 - 12+ year relevant experience on DevOps
Locations : Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur.

Qualification:
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer science, Software engineering or equivalent is required.
• Certifications in specific areas are desired

Technical Skillset: Skills Proficiency level

• Build tools (Ant or Maven) - Expert
• CI/CD tool (Jenkins or Github CI/CD) - Expert
• Cloud DevOps (AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Code Pipeline etc) or Azure DevOps. - Expert

• Containerization (Docker, Docker Registry) - Expert
• Scripting (linux) - Expert
• Cluster deployment (Kubernetes) & maintenance - Expert
• Programming (Java) - Intermediate
• Application Types for DevOps (Streaming like Spark, Kafka, Big data like Hadoop etc) - Expert
• Artifactory (JFrog) - Expert
• Monitoring & Reporting (Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty etc.) - Expert
• Ansible, MySQL, PostgreSQL - Intermediate

•  Expertise in implementing and managing Devops CI/CD pipeline. ( either using Jenkins or Azure DevOps ) 
• At least one AWS or Azure Certification
• Terraform Scripting
•  Hands-on experience with git and source code management and release management.
• Experience in DevOps automation tools. And Very well versed with DevOps principles and the Agile Frameworks.
• Working knowledge of scripting using shell, Python, Gradle, Yaml, Ansible or puppet or chef.
• Working knowledge of build systems for various technologies like npm, maven etc. 
• Experience and good understanding in any of Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google cloud.
• Hands on Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting skills with proven abilities in resolving complex technical issues. Experience with working with ticketing tools (Jira & Service now)
• A programming language like Java, Go , NodeJS is a nice to have.

• Work Permit for United Kingdom ( tier 2 visa ) total duration of visa will be 5 years ( first 2 years and then 3 year extension)

• 5+ years hands-on experience with designing, deploying and managing core AWS services and infrastructure
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, Ruby, Groovy, or similar languages 
• Experience in source control management, specifically with Git
• Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux and bash scripting
• Experience building, managing Helm-based build and release CI-CD pipelines for Kubernetes platforms (EKS, Openshift, GKE) 
• Strong experience with orchestration and config management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Cloudformation  
• Ability to debug, analyze issues leveraging tools like App Dynamics, New Relic and Sumologic 
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and principles
