DevOps Engineer

• At least 5 year of experience in Cloud technologies-AWS and Azure and developing. 
• Experience in implementing DevOps practices and DevOps-tools in areas like CI/CD using Jenkins environment automation, and release automation, virtualization, infra as a code or metrics tracking.
• Hands on experience in DevOps tools configuration in different environments.
• Strong knowledge of working with DevOps design patterns, processes and best practices
• Hand-on experience in Setting up Build pipelines.
• Prior working experience in system administration or architecture in Windows or Linux.
• Must have experience in GIT (BitBucket, GitHub, GitLab)
• Hands-on experience on Jenkins pipeline scripting.
• Hands-on knowledge in one scripting language (Nant, Perl, Python, Shell or PowerShell)
• Configuration level skills in tools like SonarQube (or similar tools) and Artifactory.
• Expertise on Virtual Infrastructure (VMWare or VirtualBox or QEMU or KVM or Vagrant) and environment automation/provisioning using SaltStack/Ansible/Puppet/Chef
• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing Azure cloud based production systems including monitoring capacity.
• Good to have experience in migrating code repositories from one source control to another.
• Hands-on experience in Docker container and orchestration based deployments like Kubernetes, Service Fabric, Docker swarm.
• Must have good communication skills and problem solving skills

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement Java-based applications
• Perform analysis and provide recommendations for Cloud deployments and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
• Build and maintain clusters for various technologies such as Aerospike, Elasticsearch, RDS, Hadoop, etc
• Develop and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) frameworks
• Provide architectural design and practical guidance to software development teams to improve resilience, efficiency, performance, and costs
• Evaluate and define/modify configuration management strategies and processes using Ansible
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to coordinate work efforts and enhance team efficiency
• Take on leadership responsibilities to influence the direction, schedule, and prioritization of the automation effort

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in a DevOps role
• At least 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing infrastructure as code within the AWS/GCP/Azure ecosystem
• Expert knowledge of any cloud core services, big data managed services, Ansible, Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation, Amazon ECS/Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Nginx
• Expert proficiency in at least two scripting/programming languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, Go, Ruby, etc.
• Mastery in configuration automation tool sets such as Ansible, Chef, etc
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Git toolset
• Experience with automation tools for monitoring and alerts such as Nagios, Grafana, Graphite, Cloudwatch, New Relic, etc
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple diverse projects simultaneously

Technical Skills

• Experience with AWS multi-region/multi-AZ deployed systems, auto-scaling of EC2 instances, CloudFormation, ELBs, VPCs, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, Route53, RDS, IAM roles, security groups, cloud watch
• Experience in Data Visualization and Monitoring tools such as Grafana and Kibana
• Experienced in Build and CI/CD/CT technologies like GitHub, Chef, Artifactory, Hudson/Jenkins
• Experience with log collection, filter creation, and analysis, builds, and performance monitoring/tuning of infrastructure.
• Automate the provisioning of environments pulling strings with Puppet, cooking up some recipes with Chef, or through Ansible, and the deployment of those environments using containers, like Docker or Rocket: (have at least some configuration management tool through some version control).

Qualifications:

• B.E/ B.Tech/ M.C.A in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 60% in Graduation and Post-Graduation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification required
• 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and support of highly complex solutions (i.e. having an architectural sense for ensuring security and compliance, availability, reliability, etc.)
• Deep technical experience in serverless AWS infrastructure
• Understanding of cloud automation and orchestration tools and techniques including git, terraform, ARM or equivalent
• Create Technical Design documents, understand technical designs and translate into the application requirements.
• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating alternative technical solutions
• Participate in code and design review process
• Write unit test cases for quality check of the deliverables
• Ability to work closely with others in a team environment as well as independently
• Proven ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
