What are we looking for??

1. You have a good understanding and work experience in AKS, Kubernetes, and EKS.
2. You are able to manage multi region clusters for disaster recovery.
3. You have a good understanding of AWS stack.
4. You have experience of production level in Kubernetes. 
5. You are comfortable coding/programming and can do so whenever required. 
6. You have worked with programmable infrastructure in some way - Built a CI/CD pipeline, Provisioned infrastructure programmatically or Provisioned monitoring and logging infrastructure for large sets of machines.
7. You love automating things, sometimes even what seems like you can’t automate - such as one of our engineers used Ansible to set up the Ubuntu workstation and runs a playbook every time something has to be installed.
8. You don’t throw around words such as “high availability” or “resilient systems” without understanding at least their basics. Because you know that words are easy to talk about but there is a fair amount of work to build such a system in practice.
9. You love coaching people - about the 12-factor apps or the latest tool that reduced your time of doing a task by X times and so on. You lead by example when it comes to technical work and community.
10. You understand the areas you have worked on very well but, you are curious about many systems that you may not have worked on and want to fiddle with them.
11. You know that understanding applications and the runtime technologies gives you a better perspective - you never looked at them as two different things.

What you will be learning and doing?

1. You will be working with customers trying to transform their applications and adopt cloud-native technologies. The technologies used will be Kubernetes, Prometheus, Service Mesh, Distributed tracing and public cloud technologies or on-premise infrastructure.
2. The problems and solutions are continuously evolving in space but fundamentally you will be solving problems with simplest and scalable automation.
3. You will be building open source tools for problems that you think are common across customers and industry. No one ever benefited from re-inventing the wheel, did they? 
4. You will be hacking around open source projects, understand their capabilities, limitations and apply the right tool for the right job.
5. You will be educating the customers - from their operations engineers to developers on scalable ways to build and operate applications in modern cloud-native infrastructure.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong technical expertise across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code (IaC). The ideal candidate should also have direct client-facing experience and a proactive approach to managing both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external clients to understand infrastructure requirements and implement DevOps best practices.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, etc.).
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Write robust automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting.
• Monitor system performance and availability, and ensure high uptime and reliability.
• Execute and optimize SQLqueries for MSSQL and PostgresQL databases.
• Maintain clear documentation and provide technical support to stakeholders and clients.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Proven experience in client-facing engagements and communication.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services – EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, etc.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Strong experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub.
• Solid understanding of SQL and working experience with MSSQL and PostgreSQL.

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•Strong knowledge in Terraform for multi-stack cloud infrastructure provisioning.

What will you do?

· Define the overall process, which includes building a team for DevOps activities and ensuring that infrastructure changes are reviewed from an architecture and security perspective

· Create standardized tooling and templates for development teams to create CI/CD pipelines

· Ensure infrastructure is created and maintained using terraform

· Work with various stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure changes to support new feature sets in various product lines.

· Maintain transparency and clear visibility of costs associated with various product verticals, environments and work with stakeholders to plan for optimization and implementation

· Spearhead continuous experimenting and innovating initiatives to optimize the infrastructure in terms of uptime, availability, latency and costs

5. Have it all on your fingertips: Have experience building CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Docker for applications majorly running on Kubernetes. Hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting applications running on K8s

6. Have nailed the data storage game: Good knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL,Mongo, BigQuery, Cassandra…)

7. Bring that extra zing: Have the ability to program/script is and strong fundamentals in Linux and Networking.

8. Know your toys: Have a good understanding of Microservices architecture, Big Data technologies and experience with highly available distributed systems, scaling data store technologies, and creating multi-tenant and self hosted environments, that’s a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse cloud infrastructure requirements

• Automating system tasks and infrastructure using a scripting language (Shell/Python/Ruby

preferred), with configuration management tools (Ansible/ Puppet/Chef), service registry and

discovery tools (Consul and Vault, etc), infrastructure orchestration tools (Terraform,

CloudFormation), and automated imaging tools (Packer)

• Support existing infrastructure, analyse problem areas and come up with solutions

• An eye for monitoring – the candidate should be able to look at complex infrastructure and be

able to figure out what to monitor and how.

• Work along with the Engineering team to help out with Infrastructure / Network automation needs.

• Deploy infrastructure as code and automate as much as possible

• Manage a team of DevOps

Desired Profile:

• Understanding of provisioning of Bare Metal and Virtual Machines

• Working knowledge of Configuration management tools like Ansible/ Chef/ Puppet, Redfish.

2. Implement Continuous Development (CD) practices that automates deployment of the application to several environments – Dev, Test and Production
3. Implement Continuous Testing (functional and non-functional) to execute tests in the CI/CD pipeline
4. Manage Version Control:
