DevOps Engineer

Requirements

Core skills:

● Strong background in Linux / Unix Administration and

troubleshooting

● Experience with AWS (ideally including some of the following:

VPC, Lambda, EC2, Elastic Cache, Route53, SNS, Cloudwatch,

Cloudfront, Redshift, Open search, ELK etc.)

● Experience with Infra Automation and Orchestration tools

including Terraform, Packer, Helm, Ansible.

● Hands on Experience on container technologies like Docker,

Kubernetes/EKS, Gitlab and Jenkins as Pipeline.

● Experience in one or more of Groovy, Perl, Python, Go or

scripting experience in Shell.

● Good understanding of with Continuous Integration(CI) and

Continuous Deployment(CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins,

FlexCD, ArgoCD, Spinnaker etc

● Working knowledge of key value stores, database technologies

(SQL and NoSQL), Mongo, mySQL

● Experience with application monitoring tools like Prometheus,

Grafana, APM tools like NewRelic, Datadog, Pinpoint

● Good exposure on middleware components like ELK, Redis, Kafka

and IOT based systems including Redis, NewRelic, Akamai,

Apache / Nginx, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus etc

Good to have:

● Prior experience in Logistics, Payment and IOT based applications

● Experience in unmanaged mongoDB cluster, automations &

operations, analytics

● Write procedures for backup and disaster recovery

Core Experience

● 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps experience

● 2+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience

● 3+ years of Cloud Platform experience with special focus on

Lambda, R53, SNS, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, Elastic Beanstalk,

RDS, Open Search, EC2, Security tools

● 2+ years of scripting experience in Python/Go, shell

● 2+ years of familiarity with CI/CD, Git, IaC, Monitoring, and

Logging tools

- Work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company

- Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance

- Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to developer teams to build their cloud competencies

- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards for code quality and thoughtful design

- Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines

Job Description :

- Excellent understanding of Cloud Platform (AWS)

- Strong knowledge on AWS Services, design, configuration on enterprise systems

• Experience in configuring Jenkins job with related Plugins for     Building, Testing, and Continuous Deployment to accomplish the complete CI/CD.

Responsibilities

- As a Security & Azure DevOps engineer technical specialist you will be responsible for advising and assisting in the architecture, design and implementation of secure infrastructure solutions

- Should be capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and application, specifically in operating, and supporting high-performance, highly available services and infrastructure

· Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows, with demonstrated hands-on experience on the following domains:

· Experience in building, deploying and monitoring Azure services with strong IaaS and PaaS services (Redis Cache, Service Bus, Event Hub, Cloud Service etc.)

· Understanding of API endpoint management

· Able to monitor, maintain serverless architect using function /web apps

· Logs analysis capabilities using elastic search and Kibana dashboard

· Azure Core Platform: Compute, Storage, Networking

· Data Platform: SQL, Cosmo DB, MongoDB and JQL query

· Identity and Authentication: SSO Federation, ADAzure AD etc

· Experience with Azure Storage, Backup and Express Route

· Hands-on experience in ARM templates

· Ability to write PowerShell & Python scripts to automate IT Operations

· Working Knowledge of Azure OMS and Configuration of OMS Dashboards is desired

· You will help assist in stabilizing developed solutions by understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure and operations implications of the developed solution.

· Use of DevOps tools to deliver and operate end-user services a plus (e.g., Chef, New Relic, Puppet, etc.)

· Able to deploy and re-create of resources

· Building terraforms for cloud infrastructure

· Having ITIL/ITASM standards as best practise

· PEN testing and OWASP security testing will be addon bonus

· Load and performance testing using Jmeter

· Capacity review on daily basis

· Handing repeated issues and solving them using ansible automation

· Jenkin pipelines for CI/CD

· Code review platform using sonarqube

· Cost analysis on regular basis to keep the system and resources optimum

· Experience on ASP.Net, C#, .Net programming is must.

Position : Devops Engineer – SDE3

Responsibilities

• Develop Collaborate in large-scale systems design discussions.

• Deploying and maintaining in-house/customer systems ensuring high availability, performance and optimal cost.

• Automate build pipelines. Ensuring right architecture for CI/CD

• Work with engineering leaders to ensure cloud security

• Develop standard operating procedures for various facets of Infrastructure services (CI/CD, Git Branching, SAST, Quality gates, Auto Scaling)

• Perform & automate regular backups of servers & databases. Ensure rollback and restore capabilities are Realtime and with zero-downtime.

• Lead the entire DevOps charter for ONE Championship. Mentor other DevOps engineers. Ensure industry standards are followed.

Requirements

• Overall 5+ years of experience in as DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer

• B.E/B.Tech in CS or equivalent streams from institute of repute

• Experience in Azure is a must. AWS experience is a plus

• Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and containers

• Proficiency in developing and deploying fully automated environments using Puppet/Ansible and Terraform

• Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios/Icinga, Prometheus, AlertManager, Newrelic

• Good knowledge of source code control (git)

• Expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment setup using Azure Pipeline or Jenkins

• Strong experience in programming languages. Python is preferred

• Experience in scripting and unit testing

• Basic knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases

• Strong Linux fundamentals

• Experience in SonarQube, Locust & Browserstack is a plus
