Job Summary (Simple):
The Logistics Executive is responsible for handling shipments and transportation work. This includes booking containers, coordinating with shipping partners, tracking shipments, handling documents, negotiating freight rates, and making sure goods are delivered on time without issues.

- Follow up on export documents

- Handle third-party certifications
- Check freight and transport bills and coordinate with the Accounts team
- Track and report extra local charges
- Handle shipment-related problems or delays
- Follow up with forwarders for DO release and container bookings
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on logistics activities
- Maintain proper files, documents, and records
Ad-hoc & Support Work:
- Help with any additional work as required by management
- Prepare special reports for the Reporting Manager, Directors, or MD
- Help create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Attend meetings and visits with vendors, CHA, and forwarders when required
Working Relationships:
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, service providers
- Work closely with internal teams and management
Qualification & Experience (Simple):
- Graduate or Diploma holder
- 3 years experience after qualification
- Experience in Shipping Line / Forwarder / CHA
- Strong knowledge of Excel and MS Office
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Good time management and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
