Job Title: Laravel Full Stack Developer

Location: Gurugram, India

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in Laravel to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of the full development lifecycle of our web applications. You will be responsible for building and maintaining both the backend and frontend using the Laravel framework, along with frontend technologies such as Vue.js, Angular, or React. Your primary goal will be to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our users. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver products aligned with the company's vision and goals will also be a key aspect of this role.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

• Total of 4+ years of experience in Software development.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in front-end development with strong skills in any JS Frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• At least 3 years of experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• 1.5-2 years of experience with developing micro-services using Vuex, Vue Router, and REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, Vue.js, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL.
• Ability to write high-performance, reusable code, including appropriate testing.
• Proven oral/written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and reprioritize under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Laravel and Vue.js.
• Collaborate with team members across different time zones to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development.
• Proficiency in Laravel PHP framework and Vue.js JavaScript framework.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be acting as part of a team to develop software solutions using Scrum methodology in 2-week sprints.
• Turn user stories, feature requests and defect reports into quality software changes for our customers.
• Develop software solutions by conferring with product owners, understanding system behavior, and proposing solutions while following the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack.

Key deliverables for the Data Science Engineer would be to help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help us make smarter decisions to deliver even better products. Your primary focus will be on applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high-quality prediction systems integrated with our products.

What will you do?

• You will be building and deploying ML models to solve specific business problems related to NLP, computer vision, and fraud detection.
• You will be constantly assessing and improving the model using techniques like Transfer learning
• You will identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes along with undertaking pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
• You will own the complete ML pipeline - data gathering/labeling, cleaning, storage, modeling, training/testing, and deployment.
• Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Building predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

We would love to hear from you if :

• You have 2+ years of experience as a software engineer at a SaaS or technology company
• Demonstrable hands-on programming experience with Python/R Data Science Stack
• Ability to design and implement workflows of Linear and Logistic Regression, Ensemble Models (Random Forest, Boosting) using R/Python
• Familiarity with Big Data Platforms (Databricks, Hadoop, Hive), AWS Services (AWS, Sagemaker, IAM, S3, Lambda Functions, Redshift, Elasticsearch)
• Experience in Probability and Statistics, ability to use ideas of Data Distributions, Hypothesis Testing and other Statistical Tests.
• Demonstrable competency in Data Visualisation using the Python/R Data Science Stack.
• Preferable Experience Experienced in web crawling and data scraping
• Strong experience in NLP. Worked on libraries such as NLTK, Spacy, Pattern, Gensim etc.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

1. Be involved in product and design decisions, and drive implementations. 
2. Help us scale the payment-linked loyalty infrastructure to every payment product used in India. Develop platform features for/with reusable code.
3. Work with IT/tech SPOCs from Banks and Fintechs to achieve seamless API integrations, resolve concerns, and move forward with program delivery and implementation. 
4. Tag team with internal and external stakeholders to problem solve and work with banks to test out UAT/Production and create a rollout plan for the same. 
5. Perform in-depth research and identify sources off production issues surrounding the application. 
6. Make architectural decisions (microservices, choice of development frameworks and tools, database optimisations, load handling)
7. Proficient in Full stack development skills spanning the entire spectrum from:

1. Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL
2. Backend: Ruby on Rails
