Business Developer

Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 6+ years of relevant experience in customer-facing Customer Success / Account Management / Implementation roles.

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise customers in North America and/or Europe

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have owned end-to-end enterprise customer implementations, including discovery, onboarding, integrations, go-live, and stabilization.

Mandatory (Experience 4): Must have experience working with CXO / VP / Director-level stakeholders as primary points of contact (POCs) for enterprise accounts.

Mandatory (Experience 5): Must have managed enterprise accounts with ACV / ARR of at least USD 40K+, and owned commercial outcomes such as renewals, expansions, upsells, and retention (NRR).

Mandatory (Experience 6): Must have worked in B2B SaaS companies with complex technical products

Mandatory (Experience 7): Must have a conceptual understanding of SaaS architecture and APIs, with the ability to troubleshoot workflows and coordinate closely with engineering and product teams (hands-on coding not required).

Mandatory (Compensation): Candidate's Current CTC should not be less than 27 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

 Record and maintain accounting entries, including Payments, Receipts, Journals, Sales, Purchases, Debit Notes, Credit Notes, Stock, and Stock Journals.

 Manage daily bank entries and perform monthly bank reconciliations. Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)

 Ensure timely TDS payments before the 7th of each month

 Prepare and file TDS returns within statutory timelines Goods & Services Tax (GST)

 Maintain knowledge of applicable GST rates and regulations.

 Prepare monthly GST data and ensure timely filing of GST returns.

 Manage annual GST return filing.

Statutory Contributions

 Prepare and process monthly payments for Provident Fund (PF), Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), and Professional Tax.  Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and deadlines. Vendor & Auditor Coordination

 Ensure timely processing and payment of vendor invoices before due dates.

 Coordinate with vendors and Chartered Accountants for queries, invoices, audits, and compliance-related matters.

Compliance & Regulatory Filings

 Prepare and maintain compliance data for the following: o Income Tax Returns (ITR) o Quarterly TDS Returns o Annual Professional Tax and Property Tax o Registrar of Companies (ROC) filings o Annual Performance Report (APR) o FEMA compliance o Yearly license renewals

 Ensure timely preparation and submission of all statutory and regulatory filings. Advance Tax

 Calculate advance tax liabilities accurately.

 Ensure timely payment of advance tax as per due dates. 

• Assist in preparing invoices and processing billing-related documentation
• Respond to basic billing queries from customers via email or other support channel
• Support quote creation and pricing discussions by gathering required details
• Help maintain billing records, trackers, and revenue dashboards
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure correct customer billing information
• Flag recurring billing issues and suggest improvements
• Escalate complex billing concerns to the Billing Specialist
• Ensure timely follow-ups on pending payments/information (where applicable)

Requirements

Must Have:

• Undergraduate degree in any discipline (finance-related preferred)
• Experience range: between 1-3 years
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Good numerical aptitude and comfort working with spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Willingness to learn and ability to figure things out independently
• Basic understanding of billing, invoicing, or financial processes (internships count)

Good to Have (Preferred, not mandatory):

• Experience in customer-facing or billing support roles
• Exposure to SaaS billing, subscription models, or CRM/finance tools
• Familiarity with dashboards or reporting

Role Summary

We’re seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Senior Software Engineer who thrives in a startup environment. You will lead end-to-end development of key features, own architectural decisions, and ensure the smooth delivery of our product.

Mandatory Skill Sets/Expertise

• 5-6 years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on the MERN / PERN stack (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js) and AWS.

• Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and experience with serverless solutions (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway).

• Proficiency in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Github actions, or similar tools.

• Proven experience leading and guiding a development team, with strong mentoring skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables without oversight, while thriving in a startup mentality.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL solutions along with ORM tools like Sequalize & Mongoose ORM

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Typescript for both frontend and backend development. • Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Familiarity with GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools or SaaS products.

• Experience with other AWS services like ECS, CloudFormation, or RDS.

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, driving best practices in coding and architecture.

• Take full ownership of modules, from design through deployment, and launch web apps singlehandedly if needed.

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the PERN / MERN stack (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Express, React, Node.js) with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.

• Prepare high-level technical designs and architectural decisions, especially on AWS serverless architecture and microservices.

• Implement secure, reliable, and scalable solutions using AWS services • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous integration and automated deployments.

• Optimize application performance through techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, and caching.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, to define features and user experience improvements.

• Ensure high code quality by adhering to SOLID principles, implementing comprehensive testing, and embedding observability into the application.

• Monitor and respond to application performance incidents, focusing on improving uptime and resilience.

• Proactively offer suggestions during retrospectives and work on enhancing team productivity metrics such as Lead Time, Deployment Frequency, and Mean-Time-to-Recovery
