Job Summary

We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer with strong experience in FastAPI/Django and hands-on exposure to MLOps and LLMOps. You will work on building APIs, deploying ML/LLM models, and enabling intelligent systems using modern AI tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, FastAPI, or Django
• Deploy and manage ML models (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-learn) and LLMs in production
• Develop APIs for ML/LLM inference and support RAG pipelines
• Implement model versioning, CI/CD, and monitoring for production use
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate models into applications

Skills Required

• Strong Python backend development (FastAPI/Django)
• Experience with ML libraries: scikit-learn, OpenCV, NumPy, Pandas
• MLOps tools: MLflow, DVC, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes
• LLMOps tools: LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG pipelines, FAISS, Pinecone
• Integration experience with OpenAI, Hugging Face, or other LLM APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

• Work across all phases of application development including requirement gathering, coding, release, bug fixing, documentation.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers guiding them in their day to day activities.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to develop and deliver new features and enhance existing ones.
• Rapid prototyping (POCs) based on requirements.
• Test, debug and fix any functional or non-functional issues.
• Work with the architects to ensure feasibility of the design while ensuring all quality attributes are met.
• Participate in deployment and release activities.

• 5+years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in Python, Django DRF, REST APIs
• Experience with Document DB, RDBMS and ORM.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean and testable code.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch is preferred.
• Exposure to AWS will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (ReactJS, Javascript etc) will be a plus.
• Strong team player who can work efficiently in a highly collaborative effort.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and deliver highly scalable, reliable and fault tolerant systems with minimal guidance

• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards

Partner with the product management team to define and execute the feature roadmap Translate business requirements into scalable and extensible design

The Ideal Candidate Education

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of experience in commercial software development in large distributed systems Experience

• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying applications on Golang, Ruby,Python, .Net Core or Java for large scale applications

• Deep knowledge of Linux as a production environment

• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures

• Expert in at least 1 of the following languages: Golang, Python, Ruby, Java, C, C++

• Proficient in OOP, including design patterns.

• Ability to design and implement low latency RESTful services

• Hands-on coder who has built backend services that handle high volume traffic.

We are seeking a lead Python Developer to lead the backend efforts and, in the process design, develop, and deploy its customer centric applications.

The person will have the opportunity to design and build an early stage, rapidly evolving platform from scratch and carry out these primary responsibilities -

Optimize components for maximum performance across multiple devices and browsers

Write performant REST APIs for both internal and external consumption
