Mandatory (Tech Skills) – Must have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).

Mandatory (DevOps Skillset) – Must have hands-on experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory (Company) – Top-tier/renowned product-based company (preferred Entreprise B2B SaaS)

Job Overview:

We are looking for Tech Lead to join our Engineering team and lead all stages of the software product development life cycle. This will include analyzing system and user requirements, designing software flowcharts, writing clean Java code, troubleshooting bugs, and running tests to improve system functionality. If you are a person who has proficiency in Java technologies, good analytical skills, the ability to design software systems and anticipate issues, and frame remedial actions with excellent teamwork skills; We would like to speak to you

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, scale, and maintain backend services in Java
2. Collaborate with the engineering and product team to discuss project definitions and goals.
3. Work on individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
4. Improve reliability, scalability, observability, and security of the backend systems.
5. Write simple, efficient, and maintainable code
6. Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
7. Ensuring best coding standards and practices to improve and maintain quality.

Requirements:

8. Bachelor/Master degree in CS or related field from a reputed college
9. Sound knowledge of Java technologies.
10. Solid grip on the programming basics like DS and algorithms, OOPS.
11. Experience with software design and application programming
12. Understanding & experience with software design patterns, restful APIs, and microservice architecture
13. Experience with software design and application programming
14. Strong debugging skills
15. Exposure to CI/CD and Test-Driven Development
16. Nice to have are Unix / Linux, database SQl / NoSQL, Java Spring, working knowledge on scripting (Perl, Shell Scripting).

What will you do?

• Connect the dots between business goals and consumer problems through product development
• Solve the most challenging problem of scaling and business logic
• Design and develop services using test driven development with near 100% code coverage
• Develop and deploy services continuously using CI/CD on a daily basis
• Identify and own meaningful metrics for success and move them dramatically.
• Prepare and present management updates on key initiatives. Communicate clearly at all levels in the organization.
• Conduct multivariate experiments to constantly validate hypotheses and bash all the myths

• Display expertise: Have strong proficiency with Nodejs, My SQL, MongoDB and Caching and with code versioning tools, such as Git

• End-to-end ownership of new feature development, from design, through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance in production
• Translating of high-level requirements and end-user use cases into design proposals, including integration with external services and constraints of underlying service infrastructure
• Maintaining constant focus on scalability, performance and robustness of a feature, on the top of base functional implementation
• Designing and implementing logging, monitoring and alerting functions as core parts of overall software solution
• Documenting your own work and design solutions
• Decomposing complex features into smaller, short-term deliverable tasks
• Managing priorities of multiple tasks, providing up-to-date estimates for a milestone delivery

• 5+ of industry experience in technical leadership roles
• Solid knowledge of Go-Lang, Python, C/C++, SQL, shell scripting and Linux operating environment.
• End-to-end experience in design and development of highly scalable enterprise and cloud data products.
• Ability to challenge and redefine existing architectural fundamentals in order to provide next level of performance and scalability; ability to foresee post-deployment challenges.
• Hands-on experience with design and troubleshooting of scalable web services, advanced file systems, geographic replication, distributed databases and modern operating systems.
• Experience with modern DevOps technologies such as Docker and container orchestration, service deployment, monitoring and scaling
• Ability to work with multi-cultural, globally distributed teams to a common unifying product vision and closely coordinate with cross-functional teams in different time-zones.
• Passion to deliver enterprise-grade products to customers and to continuously work with engineering team to refine the product in the field.
