About the job

• Design and implement robust backend systems and APIs using Java or similar backend language and Spring Boot or equivalent frameworks
• Integrate backend services with existing custom ERP systems 
• Work closely with the founder on product architecture, feature prioritization, and go-to-market feedback
• Take full ownership of features — from system design and development to deployment and iterative improvements
• Help shape our engineering culture and technical foundations

You're a Great Fit If You:

• Have 3+ years of experience in backend development
• Are strong in Java or similar languages (e.g., Kotlin, Go, Node.js)
• Have solid experience with Spring Boot or equivalent backend frameworks
• Have integrated with ERP or enterprise systems in production environments
• Are comfortable with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Understand REST API development, authentication, Docker
• Have an entrepreneurial mindset — you're excited about ownership, ambiguity, and making decisions that shape the product and company

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop large scale web applications using Node.js; 
• Full-cycle projects and product development; 
• Focus on software development and build Restful API's; 
• Contribute to the overall software development life-cycle including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, release/version control, testing, deployment, and support; 
• Be a part of an agile-based team 

Requirements:

• Exposure to ES6 knowledge of REST API Design and Development in Node.js. 
• Basic Knowledge of Web Socket.
• Strong Knowledge of Javascript, Good exposure to Redis, MongoDB.
• Should be having a basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap4.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features
• Integrate PSD designs to Magento Theme
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize Magento 2 stores for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

 Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Magento 2 Frontend Developer
• Experience in setting up the full UI workflow layer right from Development, Testing, Building and Deployment.
• Strong knowledge of web standards
• Expert Level understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Good understanding of Javascript and JQuery
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Understanding of Basic SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them
• Fair understanding of JavaScript programming and DOM manipulation
• Familiarity with differences in other HTML5 based views, such as ones in email clients
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
• Should be able to handle project independently
