Role Overview

We’re seeking a passionate Backend Developer to join our fast-paced team in Bangalore and help build and scale the core systems powering Pepsales. In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll work on high-impact features that directly influence product innovation, customer success, and business growth. 

You’ll collaborate closely with the founding team and leadership, gaining end-to-end ownership and the chance to bring bold, innovative ideas to life in a rapidly scaling startup environment

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and WebSocket services for high performance.
• Manage and optimize MongoDB databases for speed and scalability.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Work extensively with AWS services (EC2, ALB, S3, Route 53) for robust cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth and automated deployments.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and leadership on architecture and feature planning.
• Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–7 years of backend development experience with a proven track record of building scalable systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Docker, and Microservice Architecture.

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers and designers to build website following client requirements.

We are looking for a Developer who is proficient with Node and has at least 1-3 years of relevant experience. Your primary role will be on developing microservices, while ensuring good coding practices and architecture. You will have end to end ownership of the services you develop, to ensure it is robust and easy to maintain. • Lead design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications & back-end  services demonstrating service-oriented architecture. 
• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable APIs, services, and systems within the  platform.

• Proven experience in handling large infrastructure and distributed systems Liaison with Product Management, DevOps, QA, Client and other teams Your Experience Across The Years in the Roles You’ve Played 

• Have total or more 7 - 9 years of experience with 2-3 years in a startup. Have B.Tech or M.Tech or equivalent academic qualification from premier institute. Experience in Product companies working on Internet-scale applications is preferred 
• Thoroughly aware of cloud computing infrastructure on AWS leveraging cloud native  service and infrastructure services to design solutions.
• Follow Cloud Native Computing Foundation leveraging mature open source projects  including understanding of containerisation/Kubernetes.
