Job Responsibilities

1. Expert knowledge of Web Application Development using PHP6 onwards.
2. Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
3. Must know at least two PHP frameworks out of Laravel, Cakephp, CodeIgniter and YII.
4. Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc. will be an added advantage.
5. Knowledge of eCommerce frameworks like WooCommerce, Magento, OpenCart etc. will be an added advantage.
6. Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Concepts & a strong passion for Software Development.
7. Strong Interaction and Design Sense
8. Familiarity with LAMP stack (Apache, MySQL and phpMyAdmin)
9. Comfortable with Linux / Unix based operating system, SQL and Script Programming.
10. Experience in Designing & Developing Database in MySQL is a MUST.
11. Setting up server, Pipelines and deployment knowledge will be a plus
12. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Our team is looking for experienced backend engineers to lead the development of our cloud-based software products and be responsible for major technical decisions associated with them and accountable for their successful execution.

In this position on the software engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to client and internal facing products. FarmSetu’s suite of products spans multiple technical domains and disciplines in software and hardware, and experience in end-to-end systems thinking across distributed components is key for this role.

• Design, implement and deploy back-end services

FarmSetu’s technology stack includes (but will not be limited to) Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, GraphQL, Hasura, React, Flutter, Dart, Postgres, Celery, Docker, Git/Bitbucket to be deployed on Digitalocean/GCP infrastructure. • 2+ years of experience developing applications at an enterprise scale using the front and back-end technologies in our stack
• Ability to develop robust and scalable backend services defined by GraphQL and RESTful APIs in Python using OpenAPI standards
• Familiarity with Cloud/SaaS architectures and how to build secure and maintainable services

The Software Engineer is responsible for performing the detailed design of application and technical architecture components and classes in accordance to the specification provided by the Solution Architect, for coding of SW components, and for the early testing phases (component testing), and system testing support
