Backend Developer

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of experience to build and maintain scalable web and mobile-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern frontend and backend technologies, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact directly with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

▪️Develop and maintain web and mobile applications across the full stack

▪️Build high-quality, responsive UI using Next.js, React.js, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS

▪️Develop backend services and REST APIs using Node.js and PHP

▪️Design and manage databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB

▪️Integrate frontend with backend systems and third-party services

▪️Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

▪️Participate in client meetings, requirement gathering, and demos

▪️Ensure performance, scalability, and security of applications

▪️Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing systems

▪️Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, QA, product)

Required Technical Skills

Frontend

▪️Strong experience in: Next.js, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS

▪️Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Backend

▪️Hands-on experience with: Node.js (Express.js preferred), PHP (Core PHP / Laravel is a plus), Python

Database

▪️Experience with: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Other Skills

▪️REST API development and integration

▪️Version control systems (Git)

▪️Understanding of deployment, hosting, and server environments

Soft Skills (Mandatory)

▪️Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What you’ll do:

• Work alongside Software Engineers to develop cool new features and enhancements in our platform services space that will delight our customers • Participate in elaboration and design sessions to understand and refine requirements to be implemented • Build unit tests and automation test suites to ensure our products deliver the highest quality • Collaborate with scrum team members during sprint planning and daily standups and share your accomplishments during sprint reviews • Provide constructive and honest feedback during code reviews and sprint retrospectives • Work with Enterprise Architects to design our services

What you’ll need:

• 8+ years full-stack software development experience, ideally in a SaaS or micro service-based system • Experience with our technology stack: .NET, C#, SQL, React, Web APIs and entity framework; AWS preferred • Exposure to design principles such as: SOLID/DRY design, Objectoriented design patterns, N-Tier software architecture, threading and synchronization, relational database design, etc. • A passion for problem solving and innovation with the desire to learn and grow • Ability to work well in a remote team environment and attitude to focus on team specific goals and objectives • Ability to drive results through your job competencies of collaboration, software programming and development, and technical problem solving • Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trust

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. You have to perform full stack development activities using MERN Stack
2. Ability to translate UX Designs into functional web apps using React JS
3. Technical architecture design along with system architect and product manager
4. Writing effective business logic (using Rest API or GraphQL API)
5. Algorithm design for system modules
6. Database design for scalable and secure system using NoSQL (MongoDB) or RDBMS (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
7. POC development with other engineers
8. Efforts estimations with Product Manager and Engineering Head
9. Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
10. Writing Unit testing for robust system
11. Technical documentation

Requirement & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent stream. PG is good to have
2. Strong Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
3. Hands on experience in MERN stack (MySQL or PostgreSQL would be plus)
4. Hands on experience to develop Rest/GraphQL API using Node.js with Typescript.
5. Hands on experience on AWS services (EC2, SQS, SES, Lambda).
6. Fundamentals of Docker/Containerized application development would be plus
7. Experience working with US Stakeholders is a Must
8. Experience and Exposure working with different projects and business models will be an advantage
9. 3+ years of experience as Full Stack Development (MERN stack)
10. Experience in SaaS product development would be a plus
11. Experience in other JS frameworks like Next.JS, React Native/Expo would be plus
