Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have 6+ years of hands-on Backend Engineering experience using Node.js building production-grade systems for B2C products at meaningful consumer scale

Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must be AI-native in their own engineering workflow: already uses LLMs and agentic tooling across the SDLC, from design and code generation through testing and debugging

Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have owned backend architecture end to end, including greenfield builds. Should be able to make early architecture calls and reason clearly about service boundaries, data flow, caching, queueing, failure modes, scalability, and reliability trade-offs under real constraints.

Mandatory (Experience 4) – Must have a solid understanding of backend fundamentals, including API development, service-oriented architecture, data structures, algorithms, and clean coding practices

Mandatory (Experience 5) – Must have experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs and backend services, including integrations with external systems and third-party platforms

Mandatory (Experience 6) – Must have strong experience working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), including efficient data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning

Job Responsibilities:

Support, maintain, and enhance existing and new product functionality for trading software in a real-time, multi-threaded, multi-tier server architecture environment to create high and low level design for concurrent high throughput, low latency software architecture.

• Provide software development plans that meet future needs of clients and markets
• Evolve the new software platform and architecture by introducing new components and integrating them with existing ones
• Perform memory, cpu and resource management
• Analyze stack traces, memory profiles and production incident reports from traders and support teams
• Propose fixes, and enhancements to existing trading systems
• Adhere to release and sprint planning with the Quality Assurance Group and Project Management
• Work on a team building new solutions based on requirements and features
• Attend and participate in daily scrum meetings

• Work in a team environment creating and supporting enterprise grade applications
• Help architect, design new applications and support existing applications

Job Description

• Design & implement backend APIs 
• Mentor junior developers technically.
• Actively work to reduce tech debt in the backend
• Work towards more stability & scalability of the backend
• Tech stack - Java, AWS, Aurora etc. 

Eligibility

• 4-8 years of product company experience
• OOP implementation experience. Programming language does not matter. We use Java internally but have hired folks from non Java background.
• Hands on experience in SQL, Dynamo DB, Postgres etc preferred. 
• Prior experience building REST APIs
• Advanced understanding of AWS stack
• Prior knowledge of solving problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities 

• Build and create Credflow Product - Do development on our tech Stack 
• Understand requirements from the product manager and sometimes talk to customers to understand the exact requirement and develop insights. 
• Maintain the product and optimize over time for performance
• Identify needs of the stakeholders and work with technology and management team to build future timeline of products and features
• Be the go-to person for all technology related requirements, queries, discussion etc
• Develop a complete analytics framework as the product evolves.

Qualifications and skills

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree from an engineering college
• Has full stack proficiency, managing large amounts of data and prior exposure to backend, web frontend, mobile apps etc. 
• Full Stack Proficiency on Node.JS, React.JS
• SQL
• In memory data stores like Redis
• Experience in AWS (preferable)
