Job Overview:

We are hiring a Backend Developer with 1-4 years of experience to design and build scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in backend technologies, database management, and server-side logic.

Required Skills:

• 1–4 years of backend development experience in Node.js / PHP / Laravel
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficient in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Git or other version control tools.
• Familiarity with deployment and basic server management.
• Good understanding of security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end
• Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies
• Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes
• Hire, Develop and Retain a strong team of engineers
• Keep abreast of the changes in the industry and champion new technologies and development processes within the team
• Thinking backwards from a customer POV and relentlessly pursuing customer's cause in tech and product decisions

Apply If You have:

• Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Computer Science (IITs, IIITs and NITs preferred)
• 6-10 years of strong experience in JAVA(Spring/Hibernate/JPA/REST), JavaScript, NodeJS with good exposure to MySQL
• Experience with AWS, Microservices, Caching, Performance Optimization, Nginx, Solr, Redis, Redshift
• Experience working with agile teams and making rapid decisions in dynamic and disruptive environment
• 2+ years of leading and managing a team consisting of backend, frontend and QA.
• Hands on writing and reviewing code
• Exceptional design and architectural skills
• Strong communication skills
• High motivation to work in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment

Position Responsibilities:
1.     Design, implementation, and deployment of applications
2.     Expert knowledge in performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
3.     Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
4.     Work extensively with cross-functional teams across.
5.     Work with the business team and project managers to convert functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
6.     The ideal candidate will be a leader, builder, and operator. He/she should be able to operate in a very fast-paced environment where time to hit the market is supercritical.

Desired Candidate profile: 
1.     A Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education from Elite College or institution and work experience.
2.     4+ years of Software Development experience.
3.     Excellent object-oriented design and coding skills (Java, C++ on a UNIX or Linux platform).
4.     Very strong software development background including design patterns, data structures, test-driven development.
5.     Ability to design and implement systems end to end on your own while maintaining highest coding standards.
6.     Excellent knowledge of design patterns and ability to reflect it in their code.
7.     Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers on the same.
8.     Mandatory work experience in skills sets: REST API, JDBC, RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
9.     Solid Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
10.  Software development experience in Servlet, JSP, Spring, AWS, S3, SQS, building web services and highly scalable applications or Google Cloud Suite.
11.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
