Azure Infrastructure Engineer

• Develop and optimize computational geometry algorithms for reading a 3D CAD model
• Rapidly prototype, test, and refine geometric algorithms and software implementations
• Integrate and optimize 3D libraries into our software applications
• work closely with mechanical engineers to iterate on your algorithms
• while the algorithms drive the heuristics, you’ll also get to work with LLMs at scale for solving this very niche problem

What you bring to the table

• Strong expertise in computational geometry algorithms, CAD kernels, and geometric modeling
• Solid proficiency in C++ or Python; experience with Go, React, or Rust is a significant bonus
• Proven ability to quickly prototype, iterate, and deliver effective solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication
• Familiarity with mechanical engineering, CAD software, or related domains highly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the automation testing effort of our cloud management platform.

• Create and maintain automation test cases and test suites.

• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the automation tests are integrated into the development process.

• Collaborate with other QA team members to identify and resolve defects.

• Implement automation testing best practices and continuously improve the automation testing framework.

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using programming languages such as Python.

• Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.

• Monitor and report on automation testing and performance testing progress and results.

• Manage and mentor a team of automation QA engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in automation testing and performance testing.

• Experience in leading and managing automation testing teams.

• Strong experience with automation testing frameworks including Robot Framework.

• Strong experience with programming languages, including Python.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

• Experience with testing cloud-based applications.

Job Purpose and Impact

The DevOps Engineer is a key position to strengthen the security automation capabilities which have been identified as a critical area for growth and specialization within Global IT’s scope. As part of the Cyber Intelligence Operation’s DevOps Team, you will be helping shape our automation efforts by building, maintaining and supporting our security infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand and evaluate business requirements.
• Implement modern engineering practices to ensure product quality.
• Provide designs, prototypes and implementations incorporating software engineering best practices, tools and monitoring according to industry standards.
• Write well-designed, testable and efficient code using full-stack engineering capability.
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
