We are looking "Senior Software Engineer(.NET)" for Reputed Client @ Bangalore Permanent Role

Experience: 4 - 8 Yrs

• Read and Understand the Functional and Technical Specification and raise questions before commencing the work

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.

• Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time.

• Adhere to the Quality Management Standards established in the organization.

• Understanding of the SDLC process defined in the organization and follow it without any deviation

• Providing third-level support to the support tickets raised by the business users

• Analyzing and resolving technical and application Logic related problems

• Ensure high performance in the application by developing efficient code

Primary Skills:

• BE/BTech/MTech with 4 years of experience in .NET Framework like C#.Net and ASP.Net

• Minimum 3 years of experience on Web Application development with ADO.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Jquery

• Good experience in Writing Complex SQL Queries using any of the RDBMS Database like Oracle, SQL Server etc

• Experience in Creating and Testing Stored Procedures and Functions

Secondary Skills:

• Ability to analyse the existing code in the application and identify the Program Logic

• Experience in implementing AJAX through Javascript/Jquery

• Experience in Creating Reports and Documents using Crystall Reports

• Experience in creating Front End Validations using JavaScript/Jquery

• Experience in doing Manual or Automated Test will be a plus

Desired Skills:

• Prior experience in developing ERP applications or Database Intensive Data Entry applications.

• Has worked as a Software Engineer in C#/ASP.Net technology for the last 2 years or more

• Has experience in using Team Foundation Server for Version Management

• Prior experience of working in the shipping domain

• Good experience in understanding the technical specifications and implementing the code accordingly

• Prior experience in working on application using the n-Tier architecture

• Experience in Doing Code Reviews a plus

We are seeking a skilled NestJS/PostgreSQL Developer to join our development team. As a NestJS/PostgreSQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side applications, APIs, and databases using NestJS framework and PostgreSQL. You will work closely with other developers, stakeholders, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop server-side applications and APIs using the NestJS framework.
2. Design and implement efficient and scalable database schemas using PostgreSQL.
3. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with the user interface.
4. Write clean and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
5. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
6. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any issues or bugs.
7. Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
8. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, designing, coding, testing, and deployment.
9. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (2-5 years) in server-side application development using NestJS framework.
3. Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
4. Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
5. Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
6. Familiarity with Git version control system.
7. Good understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
8. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with other JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
2. Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker).
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
4. Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Jasmine).
5. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
