Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with PHP.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in working with SQL & NoSQL databases.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Grafana, New Relic, and Splunk.

FullStack Developer

We are currently building the Technology platform for the Global Air Cargo industry ($300B market). 

Currently, we have two open roles (1 Front End Engineer & 1 Back End Engineer).

Full Stack Engineers are also desired for the open positions. 

These (2) engineers will be part of the Tech team which will be at the core of what we aspire to build.

Looking for Full Stack / Front End / Back End Developer

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:
        Manage each project’s scope and timeline
        Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
        Ability to work hand-on and independently with limited supervision
        Minimum 3 Years of experience on project management
        Drive for results and ownership
        An eye for detail, analytical and data oriented with logical problem-solving approach
        Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur

Low Level with experience:

Responsibilities:

• Build scalable, service oriented web applications from scratch for technology products for European market.
• Maintain these applications for accuracy and high availability.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve system designs, architecture and implementation standards
• Participate with founding, business and product teams in discussions on how to build and launch new modules.
• Collaborate across functions and own the planning, estimation and execution for parts of the product.
• Start as an individual contributor but stay ready to build and mentor a small team of up to 5 engineers over the coming months and years.
• Contribute in hiring highly ambitious engineers as the team grows.
• Being among the first people on the engineering team, be a culture driver.

Requirements:

• Experience of architecting and building products/business critical backend applications using different MVC frameworks.
• Experience with microservices.
• Experience of building and maintaining scalable applications using Node.js/MEAN stack.
• Experience of deploying and maintaining web applications.
• Experience with non relational databases like MongoDB.
• Understanding of relational databases like MySQL.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and stress testing tools.
• Good communication skills.

• Exposure in building polyglot applications.
• Exposure for devops and related processes, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of components in scalable solutions i. e. database partitions, message brokers, background processing.
• Exposure to basic frontend technologies to speed up collaboration with the frontend team.

• Working on scalable code, developing back- end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Integrating user-facing elements into applications
• Testing and debugging programs for better user experience
• Front-end development using HTML, CS and JS for existing website
• Third party integrations like mailchimp, CRM, Ezee, typeform etc
• Weekly maintenance and updates in coordination with the design and marketing team

What you need to have:

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Work experience as a Python Developer
• Expertise in python framework django
• Knowledge of object relational mapping (ORM)
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5)
• Knowledge of hospitality services and CRM like Zoho
• Team spirit, good problem-solving skills

Job Role

As a software developer, you’ll be the brain behind crafting, developing, testing, going live and maintaining the system. You are passionate about understanding the business context for features built to drive better customer experience and adoption.

Responsibilities:

• Familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to deployment.
• Comply with coding standards and technical design.
• Believes in a systematic approach to developing the system through clear documentation (flowcharts, layouts, &, etc) of functionality, address every use case through creative solutions.
• Adapts structured coding styles for easy review, testing, and maintainability of the code.
• Integrate the developed functionality and/or component into a fully functional system.
• Ensure unit and integration level verification plan are in place and adheres to a great quality of code at all time.
• Active participate in troubleshooting, debugging and updating current live system.
• Verify user feedback in making system more stable and easy.
• Work closely with the Product manager, designers, and other peer developers.
• Preparing technical training documents for onboarding new engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer or in a relevant role.
• Smart Hands-on coder who can independently architect solutions and mentor team members.
• Solid experience in PHP, Node, Mongo, and MySQL
• Should have good Web service and Web application fundamentals
• Understanding of OOPS concepts, Persistence, Threading.
• Should have worked with HTML/ CSS/ Jquery/ Js / API.
• Knowledgeable in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with open-source projects.
• Experience in designing interactive applications.
• A background in Engineering with sound oral and written communication skills.
• Prior experience with AWS, Azure, Google or OpenStack will be a plus.
• Hands-on a google cloud platform and Experience in Suite CRM is an added advantage.
