Good to Have → Prior experience in Fintech or BFSI — a strong plus.  

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and analytical Product Manager to own end-to-end product initiatives across our fintech ecosystem. You will work closely with Engineering, Growth, Risk, and Operations teams to build scalable, customer-centric solutions that drive measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle from problem discovery → PRD → launch → iteration
• Write clear and structured PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Role Overview 

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and beyond. You'll act as the central hub, working with stakeholders and clients to define product roadmaps and success metrics.

A key part of your role will be to deeply understand customer and business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements for the development team. You will own the product backlog, analyze performance data to identify opportunities, and partner closely with design and engineering to ensure successful execution

You will work closely with the founders, Head of AI, engineering and business teams to drive the complete product lifecycle—from customer discovery and requirements definition to development, testing, deployment and continuous improvement.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who combines an understanding of BFSI business processes with strong product thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Management & Requirements

Define product requirements, roadmaps and feature priorities for QubeLabs Workmate.

Translate customer needs and business problems into PRDs, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Design user journeys, process flows, business rules and expected product behaviour, including edge cases and exceptions.

Prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility and strategic objectives.

Drive features from concept through development, testing, release and post-launch improvement.

2. BFSI Workflows & Customer Discovery

Develop a deep understanding of workflows across banking, wealth management, stock broking, insurance, NBFCs and financial advisory.

Engage with relationship managers, wealth advisors, operations teams, contact centres and business leaders to identify pain points and automation opportunities.

Translate financial-services processes into scalable product capabilities.

Support customer discovery, product demonstrations, pilots, POCs and validation of new features.

Incorporate customer feedback and market insights into product priorities and the roadmap.

3. AI Product Development

Understand the practical capabilities and limitations of Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, Voice AI and workflow automation.

Define requirements for AI assistants, intelligent agents and AI-powered business workflows.

Work with the Head of AI to translate model capabilities, technical dependencies and constraints into product specifications.

Define expected AI behaviour, business rules, exception handling and measurable business outcomes.

Identify where AI is appropriate versus deterministic workflows and conventional business logic.

Understand the capabilities of QubeLabs' proprietary Vectro Series language models and their application to BFSI use cases.

4. Product & Engineering Collaboration

Work with AI and engineering teams to clarify requirements, assess feasibility and resolve implementation challenges.

Understand APIs, integrations, data flows, system dependencies and enterprise technology environments.

Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, product reviews and architecture reviews where relevant.

Validate delivered features against requirements and lead functional and user acceptance testing.

Identify delivery risks, technical trade-offs and dependencies to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

Prototype or validate product concepts when required.

5. Product Strategy & Market Intelligence

Identify new product opportunities across financial services.

Evaluate customer needs, competitive products and emerging AI capabilities.

Develop industry-specific use cases and product propositions.

Collaborate with leadership to align product investments with customer demand, business objectives and long-term product strategy.

Experience & Qualifications

4–8 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, BFSI Technology, FinTech or enterprise software.

Mandatory experience in BFSI, FinTech or financial-services technology.

Experience with enterprise products and collaboration with engineering or technology teams.

Working knowledge of at least one financial-services domain, such as banking, wealth management, stock broking, capital markets, insurance, NBFCs or financial advisory.

Experience in customer discovery, requirements gathering and product documentation.

Exposure to AI/Generative AI products is preferred but not mandatory.

Bachelor's degree from a recognized university; an MBA or equivalent qualification in product management or business is preferred.
