Strong Senior Backend Engineer profiles

Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have 5+ years of hands-on Backend Engineering experience building scalable, production-grade systems

Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have strong backend development experience using one or more frameworks (FastAPI / Django (Python), Spring (Java), Express (Node.js).

Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have deep understanding of relevant libraries, tools, and best practices within the chosen backend framework

Mandatory (Experience 4) – Must have strong experience with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, along with efficient data modeling and performance optimization

Mandatory (Experience 5) – Must have experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and backend systems, including system design and clean code practices

Mandatory (Domain) – Experience with financial systems, billing platforms, or fintech applications is highly preferred (fintech background is a strong plus)

Mandatory (Company) – Must have worked in product companies / startups, preferably Series A to Series D

Mandatory (Education) – Candidates from Tier - 1 engineering institutes (IITs, BITS, are highly preferred)

We are looking for a dynamic Officer – Talent Acquisition to join our CEN HR & Admin team. If you have hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment, HR documentation, and employee lifecycle management, this could be the right opportunity for you!

🔑 Principal Thrust Areas

• Talent Acquisition for MT to M10 grades and support hiring for M09 & above
• Documentation and follow-up of the Performance Management System
• Maintenance and regular updation of associates’ personal files

📌 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Recruitment

• Share approved Job Descriptions with consultants and invite resumes
• Screen resumes and conduct initial HR telephonic interviews
• Coordinate and schedule interviews; manage post-interview documentation
• Liaise with prospective candidates
• Manage contracts and billing of hiring partners

🔹 Onboarding

• Ensure completion of pre-joining formalities (medical tests, reference checks, offer letters, resignation follow-ups, etc.)
• Handle post-joining formalities (document verification, appointment letters, induction)
• Track mentor–mentee meetings and maintain related reports

🔹 Data Management

• Maintain and update associates’ personal files (hard & soft copies)
• Maintain HR documentation as per ISO norms
• Coordinate exit interviews with exiting associates

🔹 Exit Management

• Coordinate and conduct exit interviews with consultants at the job location

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition & HR Operations
• Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial setup preferred

Required Skills:

● Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least Django (More web frameworks are a plus)

● Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries

● Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

● Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture

● Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jinja 2, Mako, etc depending on your technology stack)

● Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (is a plus)

● Understanding of accessibility and security compliance

● Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

● Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

● Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python

● Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

● Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes

● Strong unit test and debugging skills

● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

● Knowledge of application deployment process and server set up

● Integration of data storage solutions

Responsibilities:

● Owning one or more of the web services; adding new features, resolving bugs, and refactoring/ improving code base.

● Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

• This role will be responsible for driving sales through e-commerce platforms & offline partnerships for the categories
• The person would be the business owner for all the categories at HeSpoke. The role entails leveraging know how of internal and external variables to deliver sales and outreach of categories. The role entails forecasting, monitoring, understanding and reporting on the category. The role also requires the incumbent to drive strategic projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.

Driving Sales:

• Responsible for top-line revenue goals within the established investment budget to achieve P&L goals
• Responsible for developing, implementing, managing and reporting on plans to improve site metrics by increasing conversion, AOV, and other KPIs
• Manage website content to align with monthly promotions, seasonal promotions and overall marketing strategy

Monitoring Brand performance:

• Negotiate budgets, set goals, monitor and report on performance
• Secure Margins in line with overall guidance
• Plan and execute brand campaigns across various platforms and take corrective actions to stay on course of the plan
• Meet the plan for recognition and awareness of accountable brands
• Report performance against key metrics in approved formats

Sourcing:

• Overlooking the cost of production, materials & trims required. Planning and sourcing the requirements for the product categories.
• Sourcing knowledge of relevant supplier base to on-board materials at right price
• Create and manage supplier relations to develop long term, reliable & sustainable business
• Builds a strong supplier/vendor base that would stay relevant at every stage of business

Improve customer experience and retention:

• Develop processes and procedures to drive customer retention
• Drive banner revenue through list growth, segmentation and increased efficiency.
• Analyse user experience across channels and touch points through web analytics and determine potential improvements
