Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with a focus on Front-End Development with Strong proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Sass, Bootstrap and modern JavaScript frameworks including ReactJS and jQuery to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that enhances workflow organization and automates various internal processes within the organization. The role involves continuous improvement of our software solutions to save man-hours and ensure overall organizational efficiency. Key tasks include development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance of both new and existing programs.

Key responsibilities:

1)    Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code/flows that automate internal processes and improve workflow efficiency.

2)    Testing and Maintenance: Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and daily maintenance of created or integrated programs.

3)    UI/UX Development and Design: Design and develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces in the software.

4)    Web Services Integration: Integrate UI with web services to ensure seamless functionality.

5)    Adherence to Standards: Follow preferred development methodologies and adhere to organizational development standards.

6)    Collaboration: To work closely with other team members to ensure the successful implementation of projects. Maintain clear and concise documentation of code, APIs, and software components to aid in knowledge sharing and future development.

7)    Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Frond end development ecosystem and engage in best practices of software engineering.

• As a lead engineer, you will be expected to execute and deliver large and complex projects end-to-end, with or without the involvement of other team members.
• Participate in code reviews, app architecture, and design discussions.
• Ensuring timely delivery of all product deliverables.
• Be the go-to person for the team for guidance and troubleshooting. 
• Mentoring junior developers and set best practices for coding, reviews, etc.
• Ensuring performance and scalability in all new product features being developed. 

• Overall of 5+ years expertise in writing HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
• Experience in Angular and preferably React.js
• Expertise in database modeling, preferably relational DB, spotting DB bottlenecks, and writing optimized DB queries.
• Expertise in all common AWS cloud technologies, knowledge of CI/CD tools, and workflows.

What will I do?

• Delivering a complete front end application
  • Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
  • Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Coordinating the workflow between the graphic designer, the HTML coder, and yourself
  • Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API

What skills should I have?

- Must have 2+ years of experience in frontend development with an internet startup.
- Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience
- Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
- Extensive knowledge of CSS and JS methods for providing performance visual effects and keeping the frame rate above 30fps at all times
- Thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system
- Creating custom, general use modules and components which extend the elements and modules of core Angular
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Experience with client side Web technologies/frameworks such as Angular.js 1.x, React.js, Backbone, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap Experience with AngularJS 2+ is a strong plus.

Strong understanding of Web markup with HTML(5) and CSS(3) is a strong plus.

Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components Build and support scalable, re-usable software Ability to work independently and within a team environment

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build an advanced e-commerce admin dashboard application for our platform.
•  Proven working experience in React JS app development and experience with Web packs and integration with NodeJS.
•  Good understanding of Hooks and Redux State Management tools.
•  Understanding of React Design principles and architecture patterns.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
•  Work with outside data sources and APIs like the one of Unicommerce.
•  Create Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new maximizegies to maximize development efficiency.
• Translate designs high-quality into high quality code.
•  Have a good understanding of CI/CD tools (any).
•  Robust knowledge of popular databases like MongoDB, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, Redis etc;
•  Knowledge about AWS Amplify is super plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field
• Proficient with the latest versions of ECMAScript (JavaScript) as well as HTML and CSS
