Job Summary:

As a Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust and scalable software solutions that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mobile application development using Flutter framework and a passion for creating innovative and visually appealing user experiences.

Job description:

Mobile App Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable mobile applications using Flutter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

UI/UX Design:

• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs and ensure a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Work closely with designers to translate design concepts into functional UI components.

Integration:

• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries as needed to enhance app functionality.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between the mobile app and server-side components.

Testing and Debugging:

• Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure the reliability of the application.

Code Optimization:

• Continuously optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Stay updated on the latest Flutter releases and incorporate new features and improvements.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and development processes.
• Collaborate with technical writers to produce user guides and developer documentation.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with product owners, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• as a Flutter Developer.
• Strong understanding of the Flutter framework and Dart programming language.
• Experience with mobile app development for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of additional mobile development languages/frameworks (e.g., Swift, Kotlin) is a plus.

• Developing high quality native mobile experiences for our products – with a focus on UI/UX, simplifying complex use cases so that a non-expert can succeed
• Experience with Flutter.

• Practical experience in consuming RESTful APIs

About the Job –

• 2+ years in mobile software development.
• Have two or more iOS/Android apps developed with Flutter. Either deployed on the AppStore/Google Play or available on GitHub.
• Design and build sophisticated and highly scalable apps using Flutter.
• Build custom packages in Flutter using the functionalities and APIs already available in native Android and IOS.
• Translate and build the designs and Wireframes into high quality responsive UI code.
• Explore feasible architectures for implementing new features.
• Resolve any problems existing in the system and suggest and add new features in the complete system.
• Suggest space and time efficient Data Structures.
• Follow the best practices while developing the app and keeping everything structured and well documented.
• Use CI/CD for smooth deployment.
• Document the project and code efficiently.
• Manage the code and project on Git to keep in sync with other team members and managers.
• Ensure security guidelines are always followed while developing the app.
• Consulting with our customer facing representatives about software system design and maintenance.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Understanding of the Agile development life cycle.
• Experience with automated testing and building.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, or other version control tools.
• Familiarity using version control tools like Git, Subversion etc. and IDEs like Android Studio, VS Code etc.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Implement new features while maintaining overall quality of software
• Contribute to a culture of learning by documenting and sharing technical knowledge as a developer on an agile squad
• Participate in developer communities of practice by following best practices, participating in code reviews, and sharing knowledge
• Remain current on relevant technology trends
• Participate in researching and resolving customer issues
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Proficient in native development with Swift and Objective-C
• Experience building interface components and experiences using Swift UI and WebKit and understanding their limitations
• Knowledge and experience working with the MVVM design pattern
• Prior experience with knowledge of Git and GitHub
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guideline
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with security best practices for software development

TECHNICAL SKILLSET REQUIRED:

• Experience building and maintaining code for:
• Android platform (Eclipse/Android Studio, Java, Android SDK) OR
• Any other platform, with proven track record of picking up new skills
• Hands-on experience with modern technologies.
• Excellent Java programming skills
• Excellent analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills (battery usage, network usage optimization, etc)
• Passion for usability, simplicity and consistency in software development.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies
• Bonus points for Knowledge of major mobile platforms (iOS, WP8, etc.)
