What are we looking for?

• Android Developer with passion working on Android & Android NDK related challenges
• Exposure on Android Application development and deployment 
• Minimum 2+ years experience is required on Android 
• Must have uploaded 3 to 4 Android Applications
• Great command over Android Studio (Gradle-based development) 
• Understanding of Android UI and new UI/ UX trends
• Understanding of Play Store, FCM is required
• Exposure to Kotlin is a plus.

We are looking for a Passionate Android Developer to join our award-winning, talented team, building the next generation automated drone applications for our global customers. You will be responsible for the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable android code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, ship new features, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in designing and building Android applications.
• Good knowledge in programming concepts – OOPs, design & coding patterns.
• Experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, MVC, MVP and MVVM patterns.
• Strong knowledge of MAPS, Sqlite, GPS functionality etc.
• Strong experience in Material Design.
• Experience in writing Unit Tests and UI tests, must be familiar with Junit, Mockito and Espresso.
• Experience in integrating SSO and auth modules or libraries.
• Experience in Git or Bitbucket Repository.
• Experience in REST API integration.
• Familiarity with Android local connectivity API (Bluetooth, WiFi, USB).
• Familiarity with RxKotlin / RxJava (operator, thread management, eventBus).
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Should have develop Native Mobile Applications.
• Should have worked on SQLite, Retrofit, Firebase etc.
• Must have knowledge working on Hybrid Applications.
• Additional advantage if worked of frameworks like React Native, Flutter etc.
• Advantage having working knowledge of Kotlin.
• Certification done is an additional advantage.
• Even candidate should have very good debugging skills.
• Clear about Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
• Must have knowledge of working with api's and working with databases.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project.
• Should be capable to work in a team.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Should be enthusiasts and able to take challenge

• Engineering Graduates or Postgraduates with 2-5 years of experience in mobile development, who have designed and developed advanced applications for the Android platform in B2C domain. Experience of development of app for retail domain is an added advantage.  
• Must have working skills:

  • Worked on multi-threaded applications 
  • MVP and MVVM 
• In depth understanding of Android recommended design principles, interface guidelines and coding best practices.  
• Experience with performance and memory tuning of complex apps.  

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
• Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
