About the Role

We are building a new-age consumer commerce platform focused on parents in India. We are looking for an entrepreneurial Mobile Developer who is passionate about creating exceptional mobile experiences and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.

As an early member of the engineering team, you will work directly with the CEO and have the opportunity to build and scale our customer-facing mobile applications while also developing internal tools that power our operations. This role offers high ownership, autonomy, and the chance to shape the future of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Develop customer-facing features with a strong focus on performance, usability, and reliability.
• Design and build internal operations tools and workflows that support business teams.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to turn ideas into products.
• Own the complete development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Continuously improve code quality, architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Rapidly iterate based on customer feedback and business needs.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience building mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in either:
• React Native (preferred), or
• Native iOS (Swift), and/or
• Native Android (Kotlin/Java), or
• Flutter.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating backend services.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience working in D2C, e-commerce, consumer internet, or marketplace companies.
• Experience building customer-facing mobile products at scale.
• Exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Firebase.
• Experience building internal tools or operational workflows.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Firebase services.
• Startup experience or experience working in small, high-ownership teams.
• Experience with analytics, notifications, and mobile performance monitoring.

JOB DETAILS:

Job Role: Android Developer

Experience: 6-8 years

Location: India (remote)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.            Handson exp in Kotlin and Android studio

2.            Good understanding of Core Java

3.            Experience in JSON parsing

4.            Experience in REST API

5.            Experience in Junit test cases

6.            Well versed in Latest Android API version.

7.            Experience in publishing apps to the App Store.

8.            Social Networking site integration

9.            Code version tool – Git and JIRA

10.          Architecture understanding - MVVM, MVP

11.          Strong analytical and debugging skills/ Unit test coverage

12.          Ability to do design and high level architecture

Responsibilities:
1. Understanding the scope of work
2. Working with the design, programming & testing team on project estimates & timelines
3. Coordinate with team to build assets to be used within the mobile application
4. Build Application static flows using React Native with Redux
5. Integrate JSON web services
6. Working with the tester to fix bugs reported by the testers
7. Building and deploying the application to the app store

Requirements:
1. Understanding of the Mobile Application Development lifecycle
2. Hands-on experience with React Native

We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code

2. Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code

3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

5. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

2. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

3. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

4. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

5. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”

6. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

7. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

8. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

9. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications

10. A knack for benchmarking and optimization

11. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

12. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

13. Familiarity with continuous integration
