Position: Team Lead – Data Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead / Architect – Data Engineer to design, architect, and lead scalable cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Design and architect scalable, high-performance data solutions.

·     Lead and mentor a team of data engineers.

·     Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines.

·     Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy.

·     Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices.

·     Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery.

Required Skills:

·     Strong hands-on experience in Java & Python.

·     Strong expertise in SQL and Big Data technologies.

·     Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

·     Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.

·     Strong understanding of distributed systems and data architecture.

·     Experience in CI/CD pipelines (mandatory).

·     Experience in data warehousing and ETL processes.

·     Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have:

·     Experience with Dataflow (Apache Beam).

·     Experience designing enterprise-level data platforms.

·     Exposure to DevOps best practices.

1. Develop and maintain custom modules, workflows, and scripts within the LOANIQ platform.
2. Build Java-based interfaces and services to integrate LOANIQ with other banking applications (core banking, risk systems, reporting, etc.).
3. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.
4. Enhance existing LOANIQ functionality to meet evolving regulatory and business requirements.
5. Perform code reviews, unit testing, and ensure CI/CD compliance for releases.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BA, QA, Infrastructure, and Support to deliver projects on time.
7. Support production environments, investigate issues, and provide long-term solutions.
8. Act as a technical SME on LOANIQ-related queries and mentor junior developers when needed.

Hands-on experience in working with Android Studio, Visual Studio & Xamarin.Forms.

Hands-on experience in creating user interface using Xamarin.Forms, Android SDK & iOS SDK for designing UI using XAML with various layouts and controls.

Hands-on experience required on MVVM.​

Hands-on experience in developing Xamarin.Forms Custom Renderers, Data Binding, Effects,Gustures, Sliders, List views, Buttons, Styles, Check boxes, Date Pickers, Webview and Dependency Service.

Need Good Knowledge on data storage options using SQLite Database, Shared Preferences and Content Provider In Xamarin.Forms & Android.

Hands-on experience  in Server integration technologies including web services RESTful APIs.

Need Good Knowledge in integrating Google Play Services, Google Maps API and Google

         Cloud Messaging.

Need Good Knowledge with Push Notification Implementation in Xamarin.Android by Firebase.

Working experience  required on developing  the applications and testing them on Emulators, mobiles and tablets.

Proficient in generating Android .APK & iOS .IPA files deploying to the Playstore and App Store.

• Expertise in Java server-side development: Core Java, Golang Servlets, Spring Core, React JS, Spring Boot with GRPC, and Hibernate.
• Exposure to microservice design patterns.
• Good knowledge in Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Design, Analysis, Design patterns, and other computer science concepts.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Kafka, PostgreSQL will be added advantage.

Technical skills required: 

• 5+ years building enterprise systems 
• Worked on one or more large scale applications on Python Django
• Good understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and availability with an understanding of the CAP theorem and its implications for real-world distributed systems
• Understanding of distributed systems like Dynamo, HBase, various messaging and queuing systems and understanding of Time, Clocks, and Ordering of Events, rate control, load distribution
• Good knowledge of one or more relational and NoSQL databases and transactions Shrewd focus on latency and throughput of services
• In-depth understanding of concurrency, synchronization, NIO, memory allocation, and GC
• Experience with IaaS clouds like AWS/Google Cloud, Azure, OpenStack etc. 
• Experience in working with Message Brokers and Application Containers
• Ability to detect fraud and risk mitigation

Responsibilities:

• Code reviews, ensuring that the code follows the best technical practices and design patterns
• Follow best technical practices, incorporate emerging solutions, and employ scalable designs that can be easily adopted
• Architect solutions by mapping customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions
• Experience in working with Agile Methodology
• Regular monitoring and audits of the cloud infrastructure
• Managing System monitoring tools and developing processes for handling crisis situations
• Managing the development team and the support team. Setting processes that will increase the team’s efficiency
• Handling technical and managerial interviews for expansion of the team

Qualification and experience:

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.S.
• 5+ years of experience  working as a full stack engineer with a track record of delivering scalable products
• FinTech experience with Prepaid payment instruments and UPI experience is a big plus
• Machine learning experience would be preferable

Roles and responsibilities :

• Manage the performance and career development of a team of engineers, and own significant parts of CIQ applications that require design, architecture, and coding (Both Frontend and Backend).
• Participate with senior management in developing a long-term technology roadmap.
• Be a role model and professional coach for engineers with a strong bias for action and focus on high standards.
• Work with peers across teams to support and leverage a shared technical stack.
• Manage teams to scale distributed applications, make architectural trade-offs applying right design patterns, review code, and deliver with speed and quality.

What you need to succeed :

• Should have proficiency in Backend and frontend technologies along with good experience in AWS.
• Should‌ ‌be‌ ‌aware‌ ‌of‌ ‌best‌ ‌practices‌ ‌for‌ ‌Software‌ ‌development‌ .
• 6+ years of relevant engineering work experience.
• 5+ years software design, coding in Java / equivalent and a good understanding of frontend technologies.
• 1+ years of management experience in building small to medium-sized teams, demonstrating growth and a track record of successful deliveries.
