Role: DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

•   Design, build, and manage scalable infrastructure on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, or OCI)

•   Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters and container runtimes (Docker, containerd)

•   Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple services and environments

•   Manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and/or Pulumi

•   Automate operations with Python and shell scripting for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance

•   Ensure high availability and performance of production systems and troubleshoot incidents effectively

•   Monitor system metrics and implement observability best practices using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.

•   Collaborate with development, security, and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs

•   Apply best practices in cloud networking, Linux administration, and configuration management

•   Support compliance and security audits; assist with implementation of cloud security measures (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM hardening)

•   Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities

Review Criteria

• Strong Senior Backend Engineer profiles
• Must have 5+ years of hands-on Backend Engineering experience building scalable, production-grade systems
• Must have strong backend development experience using one or more frameworks (FastAPI / Django (Python), Spring (Java), Express (Node.js).
• Must have deep understanding of relevant libraries, tools, and best practices within the chosen backend framework
• Must have strong experience with databases, including SQL and NoSQL, along with efficient data modeling and performance optimization
• Must have experience designing, building, and maintaining APIs, services, and backend systems, including system design and clean code practices
• Experience with financial systems, billing platforms, or fintech applications is highly preferred (fintech background is a strong plus)
• (Company) – Must have worked in product companies / startups, preferably Series A to Series D
• (Education) – Candidates from top engineering institutes (IITs, BITS, or equivalent Tier-1 colleges) are preferred

Role & Responsibilities

Data Organization and Governance: Define and maintain governance standards that span multiple systems (AWS, Fivetran, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Salesforce/nCino, Looker), ensuring that data remains accurate, accessible, and organized across the organization.

Solve Data Problems Proactively: Address recurring data issues that sidetrack operational and strategic initiatives by implementing processes and tools to anticipate, identify, and resolve root causes effectively.

System Integration: Lead the integration of diverse systems into a cohesive data environment, optimizing workflows and minimizing manual intervention.

Hands-On Problem Solving: Take a hands-on approach to resolving reporting issues and troubleshooting data challenges when necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HRBP, preferably in large-scale, fast-paced environments.
• Awareness of key HR metrics like attrition, shrinkage, WFM, etc.
• Strong experience in event management, including planning and executing large-scale events.
• Ability to use technology and digital media to enhance communication effectiveness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Publisher, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Live Meeting).
• High energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.

Mandatory Criteria (Can't be neglected during screening) :

• Candidate must have minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resource Management as a DM or Manager, including team management experience and fluent communication skills.
• Candidate must have handled at least 1300 employee headcount.

• Need candidates from BPO, KPO, or BPM industry only.

Summary 

This role requires the candidate to translate business and product requirements to build, maintain, optimize data systems which can be relational or non-relational in nature. The candidate is expected to tune and analyse the data including from a short and long-term trend analysis and reporting, AI/ML uses cases. 

We are looking for a talented technical professional with at least 8 years of proven experience in owning, architecting, designing, operating and optimising databases that are used for large scale analytics and reports.

• Deep exp database optimization, tuning ertise in SQL, Time Series Databases, Apache Drill, HDFS, Spark are good to have

• Exposure to database provisioning in Kubernetes/non-Kubernetes environments, configuration and tuning in a highly available mode.
