Our ideal candidate has experience building enterprise products and has understanding and experience of working with new age front end technologies, web frameworks, APIs, databases, distributed computing,back end languages, caching, security, message based architectures et al.

You’ll be joining a small team working at the forefront of new technology, solving the challenges that impact both the front end and back end architecture, and ultimately, delivering amazing global user experiences.

Objectives of this Role:

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
• Ideate and develop new product features in collaboration with domain experts in healthcare and genomics 
• Develop state of the art enterprise standard front-end and backend services
• Develop cloud platform services based on container orchestration platform 
• Continuously embrace automation for repetitive tasks
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality by using clean coding principles and solid design patterns 
• Build robust tech modules that are Unit Testable, Automating recurring tasks and processes  
• Engage effectively with team members and collaborate to upskill and unblock each other

Experience of Linux

At Neurosensum we are committed to make customer feedback more actionable. We have developed a platform called SurveySensum which breaks the conventional market research turnaround time. 

SurveySensum is becoming a great tool to not only capture the feedbacks but also to extract some useful insights with the quick workflow setups and dashboards. We have more than 7 channels through which we can collect the feedbacks. This makes us challenge the conventional software development design principles. The team likes to grind and helps each other to lift in tough situations. 

Day to day responsibilities include:

1. Work on the deployment of code via Bitbucket, AWS CodeDeploy and manual
2. Work on Linux/Unix OS and Multi tech application patching
3. Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes on servers.
4. Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks
5. Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment
6. Easing developers’ life so that they can focus on the business logic rather than deploying and maintaining it. 
7. Managing release of the sprint. 
8. Educating team of the best practices.
9. Finding ways to avoid human error and save time by automating the processes using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bitbucket pipelines, CodeDeploy, scripting
10. Implementing cost effective measure on cloud and minimizing existing costs.

• Experience in frequent delivery to production.
• Microservice-based architecture (Jenkins, Docker, CI/CD, ELK)
• Experience with modern software components (Mongo, Elasticsearch, Kafka).
• Expertise in software development methodologies.
• Understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, SSH, SAML, etc.
• Possession of a deep knowledge of development workflows with Git.
• Experience with MySQL or another relational database Environment.
