We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Core Java, Java 8, and Data Structures. The ideal candidate should have experience in Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and Microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Core Java and Java 8.
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Work with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate for backend development.
• Build and optimize microservices-based architectures.
• Manage databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements:

✅ Strong hands-on experience in Java (Core Java, Java 8) and Data Structures.

✅ Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate.

✅ Experience in developing and consuming RESTful & SOAP APIs.

✅ Knowledge of Microservices architecture and best practices.

✅ Database expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• HTML/CSS/ES6 Javascript, Java 8 and any Java based web framework
• Adobe experience Manager (AEM) Apache Sling, JCR, OSGI
• Good knowledge in Apache Sling framework
• Good knowledge in Java content repository API
• Good knowledge in Apache Jack rabbbit framework
• Knowledge of OSGI and Declarative Services
• Strong understanding of REST Principles and Hands on experience REST based API  development
•  Knowledge of Patterns and good practices to design and develop quality and clean code

• Experience with testing at all levels unit, integration, functional and performance
• Experience in Agile Project (Scrum or SAFe) execution is a must
• Familiarity with git, basic git branching strategies, working in a peer-reviewed  environment,able to code to existing patterns/styles
• Familiarity with task management, bug tracking and wiki-based documentation tools like Jiraand confluence

• AEM BE developers must have modern ES6 javascript experience as well as java developer experience
• Must be comfortable working with AEM workflows, scheduled jobs, creating/modifying jcr
• nodes via java code, and accessing REST endpoints via java code
• Ability to create custom AEM CQ components and a good exposure to both core and
•  foundation components that can be inherited in AEM
• Good understanding of AEM web development framework using Apache Sling
• Create multiple OSGI Bundles in the AEM stack based on the requirements of the Project

• B.Tech/B.E (preferably in Computer Science Engineering) 
• 7+ years of hands-on programming experience in building data-driven REST APIs, services & platforms using advanced Java frameworks like Spring, Redis, Node.js etc. with deep focus on integration & scale.
• We also look for hands-on experience with Mysql, Elasticsearch (or Solr) and Nosql stores.
• Our evaluation starts with focus on computer science fundamentals, data structures & algorithms.
• You will have been learning new technologies every week and prefer folks who can use golang/rust for backend development and are familiar with equivalent data stores, index stores and pub-sub technologies.

Type: Individual contributor with good hands on proficiency. 

Must have

• Strong proficiency in at least one of  Java, Ruby, Python
• Exposure to databases: any of  PostgreSQL, MySQL, Apache Cassandra
• Any NoSQL database experience is a plus
• Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure: EC2 or S3 
• Proficiency with Git
• MUST: Using REST to make API calls. 

Great to have: 

• Experience working with one or more middleware, enterprise bus, queueing frameworks
• Any of Memcached/Redis, Apache Kafka / RabbitMQ / PubSub+ / AmazonMQ

Soft skills:

• Appreciation for clean and well documented code

What will you do at Tradyl:

• Build a shipping service module that is called by our website to query shipping rates from India to a destination country. Configure this to so that an Ops person can update shipping costs as and when they change. Own deployment and monitoring of this service. 
• Use Zapier to build a workflow to export a MixPanel report into a Google sheet every day.
• Change our supplier portal (built on bubble.io) to make an API call to our customer facing site, whenever a supplier modifies his profile.
• Write an alert mechanism that identifies catalogues with insufficient information and makes them non discoverable, which can run every day.
• Work with Business Team to design a workflow for product inwarding using Airtable. Write a small app within Airtable so that whenever a product is updated as “shipped” in airtable, it updates the customer facing website.
• Use an open source dashboarding framework to create a quick dashboard to track important business events.
