What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role

Expertise in applying machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and data mining techniques in an enterprise environment

Strong proficiency in Python (or other languages) and familiarity with libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

Experience working with natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision is highly desirable.

Understanding and experience with (MLOps), including model development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

Experience with cloud platforms (like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and knowledge of deploying machine learning models at scale.

Familiarity with data architecture, data engineering, and data pipeline tools.

Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.

Knowledge of the insurance sector is beneficial but not required.

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Algorithm Development:

Design and implement advanced machine learning algorithms tailored for our datasets.

Model Creation:

Build, train, and refine machine learning models for business integration.

Partner with product managers, developers, and data scientists to align machine learning solutions with business goals.

Stay updated with Insurtech trends and ensure our solutions remain at the forefront.

Validation:

Test algorithms for accuracy and efficiency, collaborating with the QA team.

Maintain clear records of algorithms and models for team reference.

Professional Growth:

Engage in continuous learning and mentor junior team members.

Deliver Training Sessions: Conduct live training sessions, workshops, and webinars both in-person and online. Engage learners through interactive demonstrations and hands-on exercises.

Curriculum Development: Design and update curricula based on industry trends, feedback from previous sessions, and emerging technologies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Assess Learner Progress: Evaluate participant progress through quizzes, assignments, and projects. Provide constructive feedback and support to help learners achieve their goals.

Technical Expertise: Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in full stack development to ensure the training content is accurate and relevant.

Support and Mentorship: Offer one-on-one support and mentorship to learners, helping them overcome challenges and apply their knowledge effectively.

Collaboration: Work closely with other trainers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of training objectives with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Proven experience in full stack development, including proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like React or Angular) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, databases, etc.).
• Teaching Experience: Prior experience in a teaching or training role is highly desirable, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and effectively.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of web development experience using Node.js or similar web technologies

• Well-versed with front-end code in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, React.js with familiarity in various frameworks and template languages
