Hands on design and in depth development experience in Microsoft NET

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and maintain applications using the .NET platform and environment.
• Understand requirements and transform them into functional applications aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain and upgrade existing applications and fix issues.
• Collaborate with peers to design optimal solutions using the .NET framework and Microsoft tech stack.
• Rewrite or modify existing code to improve efficiency and performance.
• Ensure error-free code that adheres to best coding practices.
• Test, monitor, and optimize applications through incremental updates and new features.
• Offer technical support for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Integrate data storage systems and maintain code quality.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Create architecture, specifications, and user interfaces for .NET applications.
• Innovate and build high-quality software solutions leveraging the .NET platform.
• Implement best practices and methodologies for security, quality, and development.
• API generation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET, .NET Core, C#, C++, Javascript).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Help your engineers grow their skills and experience

- Conduct code reviews, and make technical contributions to product architecture as well as get involved in solving bugs and delivering small features

- Hold regular 1:1's with all members of the team, give regular and clear feedback around the individual's performance

- Foster technical decision-making on the team, but make final decisions when necessary

- Provide oversight and leadership to a team of developers to ensure timely execution of team and project deliverables

- Maintain up-to-date skills in software development technologies and a broad understanding of the business, business needs, and how applications/assets drive and support the business

REQUIREMENTS:

- 6+ years of experience in software development and 1+ in team management.

- In-depth technical experience in at least one of the core languages, frameworks, or technologies used in backend development.

- Ability to mentor junior software developers, as well as to collaborate with all stakeholders.

- Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.

- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.

- Knowledge of best practices related to design principles, API development and software architecture.

- Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
