ScalaAt Spoonshot, we are building one of a kind SaaS tools for the F & B industry, the product you will develop is used by some of the largest food companies in the world. We are looking for programmers with a keen eye for design for the position of Front End Developer. Frontend Developers are responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.
An ideal candidate would be one who has a minimum of 2 years experience in designing and delivering high performing and pixel perfect frontend applications, who has passion for startups and can work independently under tight deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
- Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts
- Implementing web-based user interactions.
- Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following React JS workflows.
- Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
- Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
- Optimising web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work alongside with product engineering, designer and product manager. Ensure all elements on web creation are consistent.
Job Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of software engineering practices and key design principles.
- At least one progress web app developed by you must be live.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Understanding of server-side CSS.
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Eye for details in UX/UI.
- Experience with optimising SEO of websites and webapps.
- In-depth knowledge and passion for JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages
- Expertise in React tools including Web pack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.

Job Skills
• Good python scripting and hands-on experience with Django framework

• Back-end: Proficient in developing APIs across different platforms of web application servers. Experience in web server technologies in Django/Python is necessary.
• Database: Able to understand RDBMS schema and develop software to access data via SQL queries or DB mapper. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL (MySQL, MongoDB) databases and their declarative query languages
• Front-End: Good understanding of front-end technologies, such as Object Oriented JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Should have knowledge of Angular JS, Bootstrap, Express JS, Node JS etc.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and other industry standard design patterns.
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and programming skills
• Demonstrated ability to define and drive adoption of software development best practices, standards, processes, methodologies
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to listen effectively
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Data Analytics- Expecting a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience
- You will be managing a team of 3 currently
- Take up the ownership of developing and managing one of the largest and richest food (recipe, menu, and CPG) databases
- Interactions with cross-functional teams (Business, Food Science, Product, and Tech) on a regular basis to pan the future of client and internal food data management
- Should have a natural flair for playing with numbers and data and have a keen eye for detail and quality
- Will spearhead the Ops team in achieving the targets while maintaining a staunch attentiveness to Coverage, Completeness, and Quality of the data
- Shall program and manage projects while identifying opportunities to optimize costs and processes.
- Good business acumen, in creating logic & process flows, quick and smart decision-making skills are expected
- Will also be responsible for the recruitment, induction and training new members as well
- Setting competitive team targets. Guide and support the team members to go the extra mile and achieve set targets
