Description about the Role: • Front line support via live chat and telephones. • Troubleshooting a variety of technical and non-technical issues customers are having with their web hosting and VPN plans and services. • Provide technical support for level one escalation issues via helpdesk. • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the supervisors and management.
o Perform Level 1 troubleshooting of server slowdowns and errant behavior, based on specific procedures o Escalate technical problems to various parties including on-call engineer and vendors o Efficiently communicate with customer regarding ongoing issues • Experience configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems with an emphasis on Linux • Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking and web technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, LAMP stack, etc.)
