Business Opportunities - Monitor media including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs to create business opportunities- Undertake research for new business proposals and presenting to potential new clients- Work as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity- Attend various Client meetings and prepare regular visit reportsMedia Relations - Liaise on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email- Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and media- Research writing and distributing press releases to targeted media- Promote news stories and features to the media- Collate, analyzing and evaluating media coverage.Event Management - Manage events, including press conferences and promotional eventsClient Relations/Servicing - Attend and promote client events to the media- Assist with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines- Commission market research- Coordinate studio or location photography for shoot.PR Coverage - Develop and implement strategic PR programs to achieve significant increases in brand awareness- Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation.Reports - Keep all project-related information documented and in context. This is to facilitate easy look back and understanding of the entire history of a project or task.
