Graphic Designer

Job Description

• Create engaging and on-brand illustrations for our products
• Design compelling graphics and visuals for marketing campaigns, including ad copies, social media posts, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams on a wide range of materials that may include socials for hiring, presentations, customer newsletters, etc
• Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout
• Contribute to the development and evolution of Nurturebox's brand identity.
• Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and enhances the overall brand experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into design projects.

Required skills and qualifications

• Proven experience as a Creative Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative design work, including illustrations, marketing materials, and product designs.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Experience with responsive web design and knowledge of Webflow or Framer or HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Architect and develop scalable, cloud-native applications
• Convert business requirements into technical requirements by planning, developing, and refining
• Monitor, test, and maintain the code to address any changes in the application
• Implement best practices and patterns in design, development, deployment, and testing
• Look to solve problems with an optimistic approach and take on challenges

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Rest APIs in a Node. Js framework like Express, Feathers.js
• Proficiency in databases like Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Familiar with responsive front end in client-side MVCC framework like React or Angular
• Sound knowledge in UI layouts, SASS, Tailwind, and Responsive Web Design (RWD)
• Good understanding of overall web design including usability, accessibility, architecture, and navigation
• Ability to architect and develop scalable, cloud-native applications that are cross-browser compatible
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical requirements by planning, developing, and refining
• Experience with software engineering best practices and familiarity with project management tools like Jira
• Ability to interact with customers and understand their expectations from the product
• Ability to strategize, prioritize and execute product/website front-end initiatives
• Keen sense of usability and visual aesthetics
• Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments
• Ability to optimize time and effort, especially in a multi-product, multi-project work environment
• Advanced knowledge and experience in working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with AWS cloud services
