About the Role: As an engineer at Koder, you will join our strong team of Koder engineers and contribute to high impact, high exposure projects. You will have the opportunity to build new features and functionalities that will end up in production. We are looking for strong, passionate individuals with the following qualities: Hardcore experience in backend development with technical leadership. Proven expertise in building customer facing technology products for global customers. Ability to deal with a fast-paced environment. History with strong problem-solving skills coupled with hands on experience in algorithms and data structures. He will be working with a highly competent & performance-oriented Engineering team. Believes in actively tackling new challenges and views ambiguity as an opportunity to be creative Relies and thrives on others’ feedback for continuous improvement Identifies gaps and needs to do what needs to be done Has interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years professional experience working with .NET 4+ years in software development Experience in back end development and integrations Experience mentoring or supervising other developers Strong communication skills Preferred Qualifications: College degree or equivalent in computer science or technology-related field Experience working with databases (MySQL) Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and REST APIs Experience with Agile or similar software development methodologies Experience in working with API and payment modules Good level skills in one or more of Python, Ruby, C. What You’ll Do Use a systematic approach to solving problems through analysis of problem and evaluation of alternative solutions Develop unique and novel solutions for problems, present information in an attention-getting and interesting manner Develop a high sense of ownership for your code and work closely with Product. Focus on code quality and deliver projects with high business impact. Working in a startup environment pushing boundaries with deep involvement with business.
